I personally found this course overly superficial, and ultimately without any value. This teacher appears to have been simply reading things she found in a book; there was nothing to indicate that she personally knew or cared about what she was discussing; in fact, concepts “discussed” never went much beyond being lists. Also the reader’s voice and affect came across as artificial, which was most annoying. I don’t know why anyone would even make a three day class with such short lessons on such a profound subject… Unless they were simply trying to have more postings on Insight Timer. I’m being generous in giving two stars, now that I think about it.

It seems more like an interesting introduction to this complex topic than something labeled as an entire course, even a mini one. Just over half an hour of total time isn't a length that can be anywhere close to nuanced enough to be much more than superficially helpful.

This was, as named, "a mini-course," but it did provide a lot of information. It was very helpful in giving an overview of the concept of the mother wound and how it can manifest in our adult lives. It also provided a framework, or at least a starting point for becoming more aware and addressing the issues.

Very scattered-brained course with little depth to it. The affirmations were hit or miss. There needs to be acceptance that a healthy relationship with one’s mother may not be possible. I do like the forgiveness aspect, but it seems very rushed to get there.
