The Power of the Human Voice for Sound Healing - by Marcus Fung
COURSE

The Power of the Human Voice for Sound Healing

With Marcus Fung

In this 14 Day course, you’ll be introduced to key ideas and principles that make up a vocal sound healing practice.  Through these simple principles you’ll be empowered to use and cherish your own voice as a powerful healing instrument made for your very own body. With time and practice, you’ll enjoy a deeper relationship with your body, and have a powerful tool to manage the pain and suffering that comes along inevitably with everyday life. You will feel the clarity of  spaciousness return to yourself leaving more room for joy, creativity, and your true path in life. Honouring our pain is the first step to opening to what the pain in our lives truly has to teach us. Transformation of any kind is made possible first by continuosly arriving with radical acceptance of what truly is. It is the simple but profound notion of acceptance that opens the door to new possibilities. Sometimes we begin to feel better, by getting better at feeling. You  will nurture your ability to attune to the living intelligence of your body, the language of sensations, feeling and emotion. You’ll explore your natural capacity, to feel, sense and express the deeper layers of your suffering that in turn promote and facilitate healing at the deepest level available. We will use the power of sound to move before and beyond the explanations, narratives and stories that we can tell connected to our pain. We look forward to having you join us for this course.

Learn to heal and transform stress and pain while exploring an empowered relationship with your voice, the language of emotions, and the wisdom of your body.

Marcus Fung has been meditating for over 20 years exploring the realm of psychosomatic awareness and mind matter phenomena. He blends his experience, knowledge and study in the traditional teachings and lineages of Buddhism, shamanic practice, the spiritual wisdom of plants and ancestral ritual. He compliments this with his studies in contemporary therapies such as breathwork, laughter yoga, expressive arts and sound healing. As a facilitator, educator, creative and musician for the last 15 years, he has found that intention, sound and rhythm are at the core of his healing work. He practices regularly in his community refining and deepening his understanding. He leads a diversity of populations in expressive arts based interventions, and group therapies that range from ritual, drumming circles, sound healing journeys, storytelling, sing-alongs, and creative movement.
