Wild Woman’s Guide To Mindful Living - by Dr Candice Creasman Mowrey
COURSE

Wild Woman’s Guide To Mindful Living

With Dr Candice Creasman Mowrey

Every woman was handed a narrative when she came into the world, telling her how to be. "Be thin, be pretty, be quiet, be nice, be helpful." These ways of being have kept us trapped in small worlds, unhealthy relationships, and separate from the true power of our womanhood. In this 7-day course, we'll explore the ways we have been domesticated to be in our bodies, our relationships, and our spiritual lives and honor the call to wildness we have heard whispering from within. We'll explore our relationships with our bodies and our roles as leaders and creators, unlearn problematic relationship patterns, and commune with the divine feminine. We'll talk through specific experiences that impact women directly - trauma, pregnancy, motherhood, and perimenopause - identifying ways we can be present for ourselves and each other with greater tenderness and wisdom. Through mindful inquiry, journaling prompts, and gentle reflection, you'll get in touch with your personal narrative of pain and power, and will be invited to offer those spaces compassion and healing. As a therapist for over 15 years, I've seen first hand how women from diverse backgrounds have been coerced into seeing themselves as weak, less than, or too much in the service of disempowered notions of womanhood. To be wild is to demand a say in how we are defined, to lean into the warmth of our own compassion, and to be led by our own hearts first. If you identify as a woman and feel a familiar tingle of knowing that there is more than the limited story you were handed, I hope you'll join us on this journey. Let's get wild!

Unlearn dispiriting notions about womanhood and honor your wild, empowered self.
