The invitation to Self-Inquiry is at the very core of Gangaji’s teachings. As human beings we have the capacity to self-reflect, to put aside assumptions and taste reality directly. But Self-Inquiry, Gangaji reminds us, is not about fixing ourselves. It is not about personal processing. It is not about getting anything. It involves no thought. “Fix what needs fixing,” she says, “but question what is deeper than that. Who are you? What do you really want?”

One of the biggest hurdles to happiness, to enlightenment, to freedom, to living a fulfilled life, is our attachment to our suffering. In this session Gangaji will share her own recognition of loyalty to a story of suffering before she met Papaji, and the moment of truth that revealed it. When you overhear the narrative you are telling yourself, then you can lay down your burden of suffering, and directly experience who you are.

In this session Gangaji will expose the workings of our minds, the mental traps that keep us cycling in suffering, and how we can break the trance that keeps us identifying our thoughts as "reality." She points with laser clarity to what is before, after, and between all thought, to where the mind has no defense against the silent simplicity of its source.

Ironically, a spiritual practice can also become the obstacle to self-realization. In this session Gangaji will address the topic of meditation and practice, when they are useful and when they are a hindrance. Her invitation is to stop every effort toward what you think will give you truth and peace so that truth and peace can naturally reveal themselves in your heart.

For anyone on the spiritual path, often the final hurdle to true, lasting fulfillment is to face what we think is the truth of who we are - worthless, no good, unlovable, and possibly irredeemable. In this session, Gangaji will expose how we perpetuate worthlessness in our daily lives and how we can naturally and effortlessly meet the absolute worst in us. Only in that meeting can we see our true face — love itself.

In this session Gangaji will invite us, as spiritual seekers, to ruthlessly examine an important question, “What does my life stand for?” What is the deepest call of my life? She speaks to the potential for all of us “as ordinary human beings, living ordinary lives, to stand up extraordinarily.”

It is not unusual to want to place our trust in something outside ourselves – in other people, in traditions, or in certain institutions. Yet in doing so we can also find ourselves disillusioned, sometimes in very painful ways. What would it mean to really trust yourself instead? Or perhaps even more importantly, to trust life? In this session Gangaji will explore these questions in depth, inviting each of us into the direct discovery of what is absolutely trustworthy.

What is ultimately trustworthy is love itself. Love is your universal, individual, and collective Soul. Love is God. Love is Truth. Love is Beauty. Love is Peace. Love is Self. Love is who you are. The invitation is to surrender everything to that, which means being willing to let the whole world break your heart.
