Meet your Teacher

Helen Hansen is a Specialised Kinesiologist with over 20 years of experience in mind–body–spirit practice, guiding clients to restore balance through practical, embodied healing methods. Drawing from Traditional Chinese Medicine principles she integrates acupressure, energy balancing and nervous system regulation to address patterns of excess heat in both body and mind. Helen’s grounded, compassionate teaching style empowers students with precise tools to calm inflammation, ease emotional intensity and cultivate lasting inner harmony.

Lesson 1

Balancing Fever, Emotions, Hot Flushes, Neck Pain & More

In this first lesson we stimulate the point DU 14 of the Governing meridian, the founding Yang meridian. This helps for fevers, colds. coughs, neck pain and asthma. Next we use Large Intestine 11, for bowel issues, skin rashes, physical heat or heat flushes, tendonitis or emotional outrage.

Lesson 2

Balancing Headaches, Vertigo, Lower Back Ache, Mental Confusion & More

Now, in lesson two, we work with Gall Bladder 43 for headaches, migraines, ear ringing, and vertigo. Next, we stimulate Bladder 65 for occipital headaches, lower back ache, mental confusion, stiff neck, and insect bites that struggle to heal.

Lesson 3

Balancing Over Thinking, Bitterness, Rejection, Hot Flushes, Insomnia & More

In our final lesson, we now balance two yin meridians. Spleen 10 is a neuro-emotional point to balance over-thinking, feeling bitterness, rejection, and anxiety about the future - to be used for 30 seconds only. Then, Kidney 1 soothes physical heat, insomnia, nightmares, and confusion.
