Welcome to Access Happiness, a course designed to help you neutralize the common barriers to happiness and joy in your life. These simple tools will help you unlock your natural capacity for a baseline state of happiness. In the first lesson, we'll explore how to eliminate the insidious “if/then” statements that trap happiness behind certain conditions. Then, in the second lesson, you’ll learn to minimize rigid expectations about what “should” happen so you can embrace life's flow. The tools in this course will help you release what stands between you and simple happiness.


Meet your Teacher

Alice Langholt is a parent, author and Reiki Master Teacher, and a Certified Practitioner of EFT and Introspective Hypnosis. She is the Executive Director of Reiki Awakening Academy. Alice has a Ph.D. in Metaphysical Parapsychology, and Master’s degrees in Jewish Studies and Metaphysical Science. She has written 23 books on holistic subjects. In the Washington, DC Metro area, Alice teaches Animal Reiki at Montgomery College, has a Reiki practice in Gaithersburg, MD, and is also a wedding officiant.

Lesson 1

Clear Conditionals

In this lesson, you'll learn to identify those conditional statements that stand between yourself and happiness, and you'll learn to see beyond them to experience happiness without needing a reason. With some simple prompts, you'll smoothly access that ever-present happiness, and then start to lock it in.

Release The Notion That Things Should Be Different

In this lesson, you'll learn to recognize that expecting or wanting things to be different from how they are is a happiness blocker. You'll recognize when you're doing that, and then learn to shift your thinking to embrace acceptance of the present moment and find peace there.

I enjoyed the course - a good reminder to be in the moment. I think it would have helped during the first session to suggest writing down some of the prompts and maybe a pause to think about them.
