Day 1: We Are Made For Ease

Our natural state is one of simplicity and ease. When you go about your day, you can begin to notice how effortlessly you complete certain tasks and make decisions.

When we need an answer to something like a challenge or problem, our limitless capability presents us with choices -- without effort. We don't have to work at having answers; they simply show up.

Day 6: Courage Is Innate

We often hear that we need to build up our courage, or that some people are more courageous than others. What if courage is infinite and innate, and ultimately available anytime we need it?

Lesson 7

Day 7: We Have All The Confidence We Need

Just like with courage, we don't need to work on building our confidence. Confidence is innate and ready to support us. At the same time, we don't have to wait for confidence to show up in order to do something new, for example.

Day 8: We Are Already Connected

We are already connected to one another. If we feel inspired to reach out to someone and we also feel nervous about it, we don't need to worry because the connection to them is already there.

Lesson 9

Day 9: We're Allowed To Act From Inspiration, Not Desperation

We are never obligated to act from a sense of desperation. In those moments, it's our right to stop and wait, if we choose, to see another option in front of us.

Day 10: We Are Always In The Flow

Although sometimes it can feel like we're no longer in the flow, there is really nowhere else we can be. That's simply a temporary sensation, and we can relax back into the truth: we are always in the flow.

Day 11: Change Can Happen Without So Much Effort -- And Fast

We often think of "change" as being difficult, arduous, strenuous. What if that isn't the case at all? What if even rapid change can happen without effort?

With the prospect of change often comes a sense of chaos and confusion. Instead of seeing that state as a negative, we can see it as simply part of the process -- and we can relax into the confusion instead of fighting it.

We we go through some sort of change or transformation, it's truly as if we are waking up in a new reality. The old reality isn't there anymore; we cannot return to it.

We often evaluate ourselves in terms of what we haven't achieved. It's not often that we reflect on what we have learned, accomplished, discovered. We also assume that "measurement" is real, when in fact, it is an illusion.

Hope can be an emotion that we want to hold on to, depending on our current circumstances. But is there something alive within us beyond hope -- that we have labeled as "hope"?

Day 21: Looking Inward

When we have a frantic feeling, like we have to have an answer right this very minute, we are allowed to pause and look within. We can wait for a new idea to occur to us.

Day 22: Looking Outward

If looking inward is where the answers are, then when is it helpful -- if ever -- to look outward? There's a clue to when looking outward is actually the answer we're looking for.

Day 23: Is "Trust" A Waste Of Time?

There is a lot of discussion around the benefits of trusting ourselves. But what if trying to cultivate trust is, well, a waste of time? What if trust -- just like confidence, courage and so on -- is something we don't have to develop at all?

I really enjoyed this course and have listened to some of the days several times. My favourite insights were from Mary's lessons about change - about how sometimes feeling uncomfortable means change has already happened and those feelings are just our minds catching up. Also, how once change has happened and we see things in a new way, there's no going back. It reminded me of when my kids were young - once they discovered their hands were theirs as babies or learnt how to ride a bike, they couldnt unlearn or unsee it. I found these lessons so comforting and hopeful. I've immersed myself in Mary's teachings and some other 3 principles teachers for a few years now and now I see my experience of life is all made of thought, I can't unsee this! And letting go and seeing that Life lives through me, just as it does for all of nature, is the most magical, joyful thing. Thank you Mary x
