Explore MeditationMarian is a trained psychologist and have a PhD in Health Psychology. She has more than 10 years of experience in teaching mindfulness based interventions in clinical, business, psychotherapy and general populations. She is founder an co-director of BalanCe, a private mindfulness and psychology center. She has also created, and currently direct, a master´s degree in Mindfulness and Compassion, accredited by European University of the Atlantic. Moreover she teaches Psychology of Emotion and Psychology of Motivation at the European University of the Atlantic, in Santander. For her doctoral thesis, on the applications of mindfulness based cognitive therapy in chronic infections, she received the National Prize for the best thesis in clinical and health psychology in 2012.
