This guided meditation is designed to support rest on nights when the mind feels busy or overstimulated. The practice is slow, simple, and body based, with no visualization or effort required. You’ll be guided to notice breath, physical sensation, and contact with the surface beneath you, allowing the body to settle naturally. This track can be used at bedtime or anytime you want to rest without trying to fall asleep.

Nothing needs to change right now.

This is for nights when your mind won't slow down.

You don't need to do this perfectly.

You don't need to relax.

Just let your body be where it is.

If your eyes are open,

Let them soften.

If they're closed,

That's fine too.

We're not trying to fall asleep.

We're just letting the body settle.

Notice the breath moving in and out.

No need to change it.

No need to make it deeper.

Just notice where the breath feels easiest.

Maybe the nose.

Maybe the chest.

Maybe the belly.

Now notice where your body meets the bed.

The back of your head.

The shoulders.

The weight of your torso.

Let the surface beneath you do the holding.

If your to fix it.

Thoughts can come and go.

You don't need to follow them.

Each time you notice gently come back to the feeling of your body.

Feel the weight of your head.

The jaw loosening.

The tongue resting in the mouth.

The shoulders dropping slightly.

Nothing forced.

Just allowed.

Notice the exhale.

The moment the breath leaves the body.

Each exhale lets the body drop a little more.

You don't need to hold on to the day.

You don't need to solve anything tonight.

If sleep comes,

Let it come.

If it doesn't,

That's okay too.

Rest is still happening.

Your body knows how to do this.

I'm going to speak less now.

Just stay with the feeling of being supported.

The weight of your body.

The quiet rhythm of the breath.

There is nothing more you need to do.

Just rest.
