Spring Rains in Hawaii

I woke up this morning to the sounds of a gentle rain and the usual neighborhood birds. Within a few minutes the rain increased in size and sound - so i grabbed the recorder and put it on the balcony just out of reach of the raindrops. The birds didn't seem to mind and they keep up with their usual morning chatter. This lasted for about half an hour and then...... poof.....gone.
