Touching Grief (Part 2) - Grieving the Loss of What We Never Had
With Bhanu Joy Harrison
Grief comes in many forms. Today we will explore the grief that arises when we lose what we never had. Perhaps you wished to be loved in a particular way but that never happened and now that parent or person is out of your life. Maybe you never had a stable home environment, or your body could not function the way you dreamed of. We will tenderly investigate the somatic, felt sense of these losses. They are different as they arise from a place that never was filled in the first place. With deep compassion we will turn to and hold these places in our bodies and hearts with warmth and attention. I hope you will join our beautiful IT community.
