Find a position where your body feels supported,
Either seated or lying down.
Start loosening your grip.
You don't need to hold it all together here.
Take a slow breath in.
And exhale gently.
My name is Kimberly Da Silva,
And I'll guide you through breathwork to help you soften,
Release,
And reconnect with yourself.
You don't need to do this perfectly.
Just stay connected to your body and take what feels good for you.
Inhale… Exhale.
If you're feeling tension,
Stress or resistance,
Acknowledge it and then allow it to soften.
Even just a little bit.
Let's begin our breathwork from that place.
Inhale like you're sucking through a straw with intention and control.
Then exhale out of your mouth,
Letting everything go.
On the inhale,
Notice how the air feels as you draw it into your mouth.
And on the exhale,
Notice how your chest and belly drop.
Your body melting into the ground beneath you.
Inhale,
Observe how the air fills up your belly and your chest first,
And then continues to travel through your whole body.
Exhale out of your mouth without forcing,
Letting something go.
Keep breathing in like you're sucking through a straw and letting it go out of your mouth.
Use the inhale to gather your attention.
Use the exhale to release any tension or resistance.
I'll be quiet for a bit,
So you can find your own rhythm.
Return to your natural breathing pattern.
In and out through your nose.
Now bring your awareness to sound.
Notice the farthest sound you can hear.
Now become aware of the closest sound you can hear.
Now the sound of your own breath.
Let this sound guide you inward.
You find yourself at the top of a hill.
With a stunning panoramic view.
What do you see?
Trees,
Rocks,
Maybe even a waterfall.
Right behind you.
At the very top of this hill.
Is a temple.
Your temple.
Your very own sacred space.
Where time is infinite.
What does your temple look like?
What is it made of?
Allow the temple to take shape.
Revealing itself to you slowly.
Drop deeper into your energy.
Your intuition.
You're high yourself.
It starts to rain and you feel the pull to go inside of your temple.
Notice what the entrance looks like.
And then step inside.
Take in your surroundings.
The space unfolding around you.
What do the walls look like?
The floors.
Can you smell anything?
Maybe your favorite scent hangs gently in the air.
Is there art in your temple?
Is their furniture.
What is the light like in here?
While the rain turns into thunder and lightning outside.
You feel so very safe inside of your temple.
Your body starts to relax even more.
Your mind feels quiet and awake.
You find somewhere comfortable to sit in your temple.
You notice how grounded.
This place makes you feel.
How calm,
Relaxed,
Connected.
A bright light.
Starts to glow at the base of your spine.
Where it meets the floor of your temple.
And this light starts to grow and grow and grow.
Until your whole body is engulfed with this golden light.
Even starts to expand beyond your body.
Into the space.
Creating this protective dome all around you.
From this sacred space of stillness.
Ask yourself.
What do I need to know right now?
And then let the answer appear in whichever way it wants to.
Maybe with colors.
Energies,
Visions,
Or a deep feeling in your gut.
Allow this temple to be your oracle today.
Sending you a message from your intuition,
From your higher self.
Express gratitude for this beautiful temple that your inner world has built,
And for the messages you've received today.
Now slowly walk back.
Towards the entrance of your temple.
Step over the threshold back outside.
And take in the view at the top of the hill one more time.
And bring your awareness back to your body.
Deepen your breath.
Move your fingers and toes.
Roll your head gently from side to side.
Maybe you do a full stretch,
Arms overhead.
Notice how energized your body feels.
And when you're ready.
Open your eyes.
Thank you for sharing this breathwork journey with me.
You can always return to your inner sacred temple to help you soften,
Release and reconnect with yourself.
