But let's just take a moment to settle in,

Get comfortable,

And just carve out this next bit of time,

Next few minutes,

To set yourself up for a really magical day.

Once you've settled,

We'll begin by taking a few big,

Deep,

Easy breaths.

Just breathing in through the nose,

Breathing out through the mouth.

Doing that a few more times,

Letting that morning air come into your body,

Waking you up,

Sending that fresh oxygen to all of your cells.

And just welcoming in a new day,

A new beginning,

A fresh start.

We're going to begin with a breath technique to help garner some breath control and mental focus.

It's a three-part breath.

So we'll exhale all the air out of our lungs,

And inhale,

Fill up at the belly.

And inhale again,

Filling up the chest.

Inhale again,

Filling up the throat.

Now we'll reverse it.

Exhale out of the throat,

Chest,

And belly.

We're going to speed that up just a little bit.

So inhaling belly,

Chest,

Throat.

Exhale,

Throat,

Chest,

Belly.

Stick with this breath.

Imagine it's almost like an ocean wave.

The air moves from the belly all the way up to the throat.

And then on the exhale,

The breath falls,

Moving back with the tide,

Throat,

Chest,

Belly.

Continuing with this breath.

Inhaling belly,

Then chest and throat.

Exhale,

Throat,

Chest,

And belly.

Really focusing on this breath,

Being present with it.

Doing one more full round of this breath.

Before settling in to an easy,

Effortless breath pattern.

And now in your mind's eye,

Imagine that you're sitting in front of a sunrise.

The sun is beginning to rise,

And red illuminates the sky in front of you,

And dances across your skin.

You can feel the magic of the morning infusing into your body.

And then that red turns to orange as the sun gets a little bit higher.

Orange light pours into your body,

Filling you with strength,

With that power.

And then the orange light turns to yellow as the sun gets even higher.

That yellow light pours into your body,

Filling you with positivity,

Happiness,

Joy.

That sun gets even higher still as the world begins to wake up.

And you're bathing in the sunlight,

Knowing that you are going to have the most magical morning.

All will be well.

Everything is going to go your way.

You'll feel alive,

Energized,

Optimistic.

It's just going to be a magical morning that will lead into the best day.

It's all just going to go right.

And you sit and you bathe in this sunlight,

This morning energy,

Positivity,

The optimism,

The energy.

Just soak in the magic of the morning.

You just know it's going to be a great day.

It is all going to go well.

Take a big,

Deep breath in through the nose,

Filling up with all that goodness.

Open mouth,

Exhale,

Sigh it out,

Letting go.

You tell yourself three times,

I am having a magical morning.

I am having a magical day.

You tell yourself three times,

I am having a magical morning.

Everything is going to go my way.

Feel it,

Know it,

Believe it.

And when you're ready,

Just gently reawaken.

Opening the eyes,

Taking a moment of gratitude for the gift of another morning.

And continue on with what I know will be an amazing day.
