This meditation begins with a guided visualization to help you rest and settle, physically, mentally, emotionally, and energetically. We then transition into Reiki healing energy with the intention for rest. The majority of this practice is the music, allowing you to rest and even sleep as you receive healing Reiki energy.

Hello and welcome to this Reiki for rest practice.

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing and can be channeled across time and space.

You can receive healing Reiki energy through this practice and our intention today focuses on rest.

As such,

I'll guide us into the practice and let you know when the Reiki healing will begin,

But I will not close the practice with my voice or a bell in case you'd like the rest to evolve into sleep.

If you'd like to rest and then reawaken,

I encourage you to set your own timer or alarm.

Let's begin.

Find a comfortable position.

As you settle in,

Make any physical adjustments that will support you in feeling grounded and at ease.

Allow your eyes to close and tune inward,

Releasing any attention or focus that was on the outside world.

And inviting that focus to shift inward.

Allow your breath to lengthen,

Taking more time for each inhale and each exhale.

Feeling your breath expand and contract gently and slowly.

Notice how your breath and body know how to do this on their own.

There is nothing to force or control.

Just notice.

Allow your breath to support any softening in your physical body.

Can you unclench your jaw,

Drop your shoulders?

Allow the exhale to sink you deeper,

Letting go of tension,

Inviting your breath to ease your mental energy.

Feeling your thoughts slow.

Again,

Without forcing,

Just noticing your breath support a settling in your mind.

Allow your breath to support your emotional body,

Breathing space into your feelings,

Exhaling emotional tension,

Allowing your breath to support a release.

And tuning into your energetic body.

Exhaling any energy that is not yours.

Any tension in your body,

In your mind,

In your emotion,

Or in your spirit that you no longer need to hang on to.

Feeling yourself sinking deeper into the present moment,

Inviting rest,

Release,

Recuperation.

As we now feel open and invite in Reiki energy to support an even deeper rest,

Giving our body,

Our mind,

Our emotions,

And our spirit exactly what they need.
