Arrive here Allow your body to soften and be held by the surface beneath you Welcome to this space All you need to do right now is be Allow the music and the words to caress your aching body Soothe your active mind and inspire your soul In this world we are presented with the narrative that we have to be seen to be found We are told we must perform,
Force and be all that glitters Even when we are burnt out,
Fragmented or scared The whisper of the system says you must always be on Always be producing,
Always contributing Otherwise,
What are you doing?
We are asked to spread our wings and fly when we are still figuring out what wings are Wondering how we become like those who seem to be effortlessly floating in the currents of the winds Carried along with no apparent effort It is a normal response to feel that you are not doing enough That you are not visible enough or consistent enough You have been invited to mimic the machine And in that noise it is easy to forget the quiet pulsing rhythm of the organism you are The piece of nature that is currently breathing through you Nature does not perform for anyone or anything A tree does not enter the world until it is ready Until it is ready to thrive on its own Because it has built its reserves using what is ready available to it in the earth In the wondrous world beneath our feet Hidden from our sight but always there The earth is feeding and tending to the tree The tree appears almost like magic Cycling through the seasons our world brings to it As a young sapling,
It allows itself to be protected as it grows to full strength To us,
It looks as though it just came to be But it has taken years to reach this point It sheds and regrows at exactly the right time It does not ask,
Will I be seen?
Or what more can I do to be recognised?
It simply exists Now I am not saying that we have the luxury of a tree It does not need to create community in the way we do It does not need money to survive in the world like we do But perhaps you can take one lesson with you as you re-enter the world Instead of asking,
How will I be found?
I invite you to wonder I wonder who will find me today One carries the heavy scent of the hunt The chase for a safety that always feels just out of reach The other The other feels like a window thrown open in a dusty room It is the breath of trust When you trust that you will be found You can release the heavy burden of working to be found You can flow with life,
With nature itself And trust that those who are uniquely meant to find you will They too are waking up today asking I wonder who will see me today With innocence and wonder Because they trust that someone just like you is speaking to them Gratitude is extended to you for allowing yourself the space to listen and absorb To put down your daily tasks just for a moment Go now,
Slow and intentional With the knowledge that you can be full of wonder And trust that you will be found You are home
