Karen is a yoga teacher, astrologer, retreat lead and energy practitioner. She splits time between San Francisco, California, and her birthplace County Cork, Ireland, and shares her offerings through yoga classes, retreats, workshops and 1-1 consultations. Her yoga classes take a holistic approach that contain a rich combination of asana, philosophy, pranayama, mantra, mudra, and meditation. Karen is passionate about sharing the mystical side of yoga, inviting you to use your physical practice to connect with your inner wisdom so you can live a life that's aligned, expansive, and peaceful. She completed her initial 200 hours of yoga teacher training at Laughing Lotus Yoga Center in San Francisco in 2019. In the years since, she completed an additional 125+ hours of training in restorative yoga, yoga nidra, pranayama, bhakti and chanting, and hands-on assisting. She completed a 300-hour advanced hatha training in 2024 at Akhanda Yoga Institute in Rishikesh and is also a graduate of Portland School of Astrology (2019), a Reiki II practitioner (2017), and a certified embodiment coach in the Radical Awakenings method (2020).
