Let's begin by taking a long deep breath in through your nose and open mouth let it go sigh it out.
Hello and welcome my name is Kareena Khalila and I am here to support you in creating a deeper connection to yourself and to life through the power of your breath.
This is a meditation for cultivating a relationship with your higher self.
This is an extended version so you get a little bit more time to sit with the answers that your higher self may give you.
So I invite you to find a comfortable seat or lie down and close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose open mouth let it go sigh it out.
I invite you to imagine that you are walking along a path through a thick forest.
Birds and bees line the path there are flowers that are by your feet and the light of the Sun beams down through the canopy of the trees.
There are bird sounds that are familiar to you and as you walk through this forest you feel safe you feel at ease for it feels like you are walking towards your destiny.
All of a sudden you come to a clearing a perfect circle of trees around perfectly manicured grass.
The Sun beams down into the center of the space and you see in the very center that there is a fire.
You walk towards that fire and you take a seat at a bench that is next to the fire.
You see the flames as they lick the sky.
The heat that's coming from those flames is quite cool and once again you feel safe.
All of a sudden you see somebody who is walking towards you a person and as they get closer to you you realize it's an older version of you.
A little bit older a little bit wiser with a great sense of knowing.
This is the part of you that knows this intrinsic knowing the part of you that has lived a thousand lifetimes and has lived this lifetime and so knows the best way for you to move forward for your best and highest good.
They approach you with a knowing smile and as they reach you they give you a sweet embrace.
The hug feels warm and familiar like you've been here before and you have many times and as you pull away from the embrace they smile at you they look at you and they have something that they wish to share with you.
What do they say?
You now have a question that you wish to ask them something that's been playing on your mind something that you feel that they would know the answer to.
Ask them now and suddenly you realize that they have a gift for you something that they have in their hands you can't quite see what it is just yet.
It is something that will help to empower you make you feel stronger make you feel more confident and remind you that you always have your back.
Your higher self opens your hand and places this object in your hand.
What is it?
Your higher self begins to share a little bit more about the meaning of this object with you.
What do they say?
The object is yours to keep so you press the object into your chest and it dissolves into your heart for safekeeping so that you can always turn to it at any time in any place.
This gift is a reminder from your higher self to you that you've got this that you are powerful that you have the capacity to change your life that the power is always within you.
You realize that you have more questions to ask your higher self things that you wish to know about aspects of your life you'd like clarity around.
You can ask them now.
What do they say?
It is almost time for you to part ways and yet your higher self wishes to share one last and very important piece of advice with you.
What do they say?
And lastly your higher self wishes to give you a mantra or affirmation something that you can repeat to yourself through the day to remind you that you are on the right path that there is nothing to worry about that you are held and you are supported.
They have the mantra for you.
What do they say?
You both open your arms for one more final embrace this big warm hug and as you hold each other in this sweet embrace you begin to breathe together connected breaths.
Breathing in like breathe in like breathe in like breathe in like breathe in like breathe in let go breathe in let go breathe in let go breathe in let go breathe in let go and pause on the breath out and as they hold you they begin to dissolve into you because they are you.
Returning back to a natural flow of breath and as you begin to come out of this visualization I invite you to wiggle your fingers and your toes begin to absorb the space around you feeling the air temperature against your skin the rise and the fall of your breath as you breathe and the subtle pulsations of your heart as it beats in your chest take a long deep breath in through your nose and let go out through your mouth you can open your eyes begin to take in the space around you.
