Hello and welcome to Spiritual Innovation.
Today we are integrating and digesting really in this discussion.
Just how pivotally important spiritual development and connecting to your spiritual truth is interconnected into a new level and next level of leadership.
What has been brought to my attention just a few minutes ago really,
And it's what's prompted me today spontaneously to just record this reflective discussion is that in a meditation I was really made aware of the power of what we hold within us.
You know,
Those unique gifts that we have to retreat to seek and then when we seek them it doesn't fit in with a sense of self that we have.
Where has that sense of self been derived from?
Well,
It's been derived from the structures within our society.
I guess that's what's happened to me today is that I've discovered another level of my infinite self and the potentialities that go with that.
And just how important it is to be open,
Honest and unruly express that next level of myself which on some levels we all have resistance to.
But then I have been drawn to the work of Carl Jung who is a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst if I'm right and some of his writings of his day which I want to read you.
Now,
I'm not a keen observer of his work and know very little but I have been pulled to this piece and it has been brought to my attention and that's what I want to share with you.
So Carl Jung noticed that many people in his day were afflicted by debilitating feelings of insignificance,
Inadequacy and hopelessness.
I guess there's no difference then from then to now is there really?
Over several chapters in volume 10 of his collective works,
Jung examined this issue and came to conclude that such feelings were caused by what he called a spiritual problem.
This spiritual problem continues to be an issue for many people in the modern world and its widespread existence poses a great threat to the freedom and prosperity of Western societies for not only do those afflicted by it suffer as individuals but as many fall victim to it,
The stability of a society falters and the potential for political and social unrest increases.
Jung observed that social ramifications of this problem play out first hand in the form of two world wars and the rise of numerous totalitarian states.
He was so appalled by these events that he tried his best to convey his insights to others in the hope of adverting similar occurrences in the future.
So what does that mean to you and how does that affect maybe your leadership?
So what came to me from that was I guess a definition that was brought to me of a spiritual problem for our modern world.
And the fact that we are not encouraged to find a unique individual,
Unconditioned,
Unconditionally loving spiritual relationship with ourself and with the infinite,
With God,
With the Great Spirit,
Whatever name we choose to put on it,
In an unconditional way we have lost that connection to Earth,
To planet,
To the infinite,
To the divine and therefore the inability to seek that secure and safe sense of self in our leadership leads to a dynamic of power and control,
A dynamic in how we relate that is insecure,
Insignificant,
Inadequate,
Even hopeless,
Jung states.
And so as this goes into leadership what happens is the same relationship dynamic gets played out.
Like it does in a power dynamic in any domestic relationship,
The danger being when it gets played out in positions of influence,
Affluence and power,
The danger zone intensifies and that danger has a cause and effect on each and every one of us and on the next generation and generation after and generation after to come.
And it's really impacted me so much today that I've hopped on here in the hope that I can share it with you and that these highlights may help someone that is taking that potential into a place of position for good for people.
And we must reflect on that because as a channel what I am given is that those that are going to be positioned in leadership,
In influence,
In affluence for good must have a next level sense and spirit of the self that is devoid of the ego,
The best version in their health,
Not for status,
Label or statue but for humanity and people where they become irrelevant of the I am and who they are.
And so the best version of the self must be formed in the spirit of a changing and transforming relationship.
The next level you must come forth and your external circumstances will show it you,
Life will show it you.
So the truth,
The raw authentic you beyond the business,
The company,
The organisation,
That deep purpose for good can come through because there is a move in consciousness and we will have to align with it.
Whether that's a big conglomerate or a small business or you as an individual person.
And that circumstance,
Experience,
Life situation is being governed by an infinite divine intelligence force,
Whatever name or label we put on it we must come together,
We know that.
So there are lots of messages in lots of different ways coming through like this.
In different voices and different languages,
Spoken differently but with the same meaning.
I ask you to reflect and I look forward to delivering more.
