Lesson 1

Welcome To Your Calling

What’s does your soul’s work mean to you? In this class Dr. Mossbridge discusses different ideas about what a calling is and introduces the idea of self-transcendence as a human need. She goes over common myths about what a calling “must” be in order to be considered valid, productive, positive, and useful. Finally, she briefly lays out the organization of the course into three sections: discover, energize, and engage - all with exercises, meditations, and lectures.

Lesson 2

Redecorating Your Inner Laboratory

Where do you go when you need to access your own wisdom? Your inner lab, of course! For those who weren’t ever in love with science (and for those who were), Dr. Mossbridge guides you to a practice to locate and redecorate your inner lab. A beach scape? Mountains? A babbling brook? It’s up to you what it’s like, because this space is just for you.

Lesson 3

Seeing Your Fears

Now that your inner lab is all set up, you can use it for every exercise in this course. In this exercise, you’ll work on seeing any fears you might have about really defining and pursuing your calling in the world. Then, you’ll work on accepting and loving those fears, so you can move on.

Lesson 4

Yessing Yourself

People sometimes do self-blessing practices, but what about self-yessing? Self-yessing is saying “yes” to everything that is going on inside of yourself, regardless of any judgments you might have about it. In this class, Dr. Mossbridge guides you through a self-yessing practice that you can take with you throughout the course (and your life).

Lesson 5

Removing Judgment Blinders

Judgment causes us not to see aspects of ourselves that we are judging. In this exercise, you’ll learn how to remove judgment blinders so that you can better find clues to your calling. You will discover the emotions and actions you are not expressing that compel you to judge others, then you’ll relax and laugh about them.

Lesson 6

Listening For Clues To Your Calling

We’ve done some preliminary work that clears the way, so you can see your calling a bit better. It’s time to get some clues by completing this exercise. Dr. Mossbridge walks you through a lightning-fill-in-the-blanks practice that you can return to again and again over the course of a week to allow your intuition to speak to you about your soul’s work, without judgment.

Lesson 7

Decoding The Clues To Your Calling

Dr. Mossbridge guides you through two exercises that help you decode the clues you recorded in the last class. Both exercises are based on the data showing that our superconscious minds can offer very interesting and useful information that we can decode into practical, forward-moving steps. Complete this class to see what wisdom your superconscious has in store for you.

Lesson 8

Coming To Terms With Truth

Understanding how you know something is true for you is crucial for allowing yourself to declare your calling accurately and with love. In this practice, Dr. Mossbridge guides you through a felt sense of your sense of truth. This feeling is essential to understand, especially as it is felt particularly for you, so you can discern your calling and feel confident in that discernment.

Lesson 9

Coming To Terms With Choice

Understanding what you can choose and what you cannot choose, as well as coming to terms with past choices – these two tasks are the final two tasks you must complete before declaring your calling to yourself. That’s because you don’t get to choose your calling; it chooses you. So coming to terms with your lack of control here is essential for you to acknowledge and love your calling.

Lesson 10

Declaring Your Calling

This is the last class in the first part of the course. In this class, you’ll define your soul’s work in a single sentence and record that sentence in your lab notebook. You’ll complete a brief practice on your calling, self-yessing whatever is going on for you, and then, you will prepare for the next section of the course.

Lesson 11

Your Calling Circle

Welcome to the “energize” portion of the course! In the next 10 classes, you’ll work on energizing your soul’s work. You’ll gather energy around your calling, largely by improving your relationships with others. In this class, Dr. Mossbridge will guide you through an exercise focused on finding others who can support your calling.

Lesson 12

Confirming Your Calling Circle

In this exercise, you’ll introduce your calling circle to itself. Once you complete this exercise, everyone in your calling circle will now officially be aware of what they’re being asked to do. You may change the people in your calling circle, and that’s fine. But by the time this exercise is completed successfully, you’ll have at least 1 to 2 support people in your calling circle. This community will be essential for this section of the course.

Lesson 13

The Gifts Of Anger

There’s nothing like interacting with people to remind you of the gifts of anger. In this course, Dr. Mossbridge brings you through a guided meditation focused on two kinds of anger: motivational anger and protective anger. In this class, you’ll identify when you experience either or both of these types of anger, and you’ll appreciate and better understand the gifts of each.

Lesson 14

Your Deal Breakers

To allow others to support your calling, you need to trust yourself to have selected good people in your calling circle. An essential part of trusting yourself is creating good boundaries. In this class, you’ll complete an exercise in which you will brainstorm and record your “deal breakers” – behaviors that will indicate to you that you cannot be supported by anyone exhibiting them.

Lesson 15

Your Deal Makers

You now know your deal-breakers – these are the low bar. What’s the high bar? Dr. Mossbridge will guide you through an exercise in which you will brainstorm and record your “deal makers” – behaviors that will indicate to you that a person exhibiting those behaviors is likely to be supportive of your soul’s work.

Lesson 16

Loving Yourself

Though other classes have focused on self-acceptance and love, in this class you’ll complete an exercise in which you’ll record in your lab notebook what happens when you experiment with loving yourself without reservations, judgments, or concerns. Loving yourself unconditionally, you will have the energy needed to love those in your Calling Circle and beyond.

Lesson 17

Loving Others

Love is so important to this process that we’ll do three exercises related to practicing love – this is the second one. Practicing unconditional love for others is just that – a practice – and it takes time. But this exercise will take you step-by-step through the work required to get there. You can revisit it whenever you need a reminder.

Lesson 18

Loving Your Calling

Now that you’ve practiced loving yourself and others unconditionally, it’s time to practice loving your soul’s work without any reservations, judgments, or concerns. That means fully embracing the truth, wisdom, and joy of your calling while Dr. Mossbridge walks you through the final of three “loving” exercises in this course.

Lesson 19

Time To Open Your Gifts

You’ve done so much work, it’s time to play. In this class, Dr. Mossbridge will guide you through a practice that will reveal to you your natural gifts. These are the abilities that come so naturally to you that you might sometimes forget they exist. Well, not anymore. These are your gifts, they are what you will use to engage your calling, and it’s time to open them!

Lesson 20

User’s Guide To Your Calling

You’ve just completed the second section of this course. Congratulations! It’s time to create an operation manual to help you through the next section of the course and beyond. Yes, you’ll need your lab notebook, and if you have access to the internet, there’s a tool to help you (not required). Dr. Mossbridge will walk you through creating something we should all have – a user’s guide to help you navigate your soul’s work.

Lesson 21

Relating To The Universe

In this first class of the “engage” section of the course, you’ll be guided in a practice that helps you understand your relationship with the rest of the universe. Whether you call that God or nature; Universe or something else, it’s outside of you and inside of you as well, and working with it is essential to pursuing your calling.

Lesson 22

Committing To The Universe

Guided in a visualization by Dr. Mossbridge, you’ll commit to a positive relationship with the rest of the universe as you explore and fulfill your calling. This commitment is no small deal, and it is like fuel for your calling. You can review the practice whenever you feel your commitment has lapsed.

Lesson 23

Connecting Your Calling In Space

For your calling to be fully engaged in the universe, you must connect it in space and time to the resources that will bring it to fruition. In this class, you’ll be guided through an exercise that helps you intentionally connect your soul’s work in space; to the places and people it will need if it is to fully bloom.

Lesson 24

Connecting Your Calling In Time

In this class, we focus on the temporal extension of your soul’s work. From the past and into the future, all of the versions of yourself have a story to tell about what’s necessary to give your calling what it needs to thrive. Dr. Mossbridge will walk you through an exercise that will use your intention to connect these aspects over time, in the service of your calling.

Lesson 25

Experimenting With Your Calling

Science of your soul’s work? You’d better believe it. In this class, you’ll be the scientist of your soul as you complete an exercise in which you build your own experiment to help launch your calling. Don’t worry – you can’t fail. You will learn a lot, though, and your calling will be stronger for it. So will you.

Lesson 26

Faith & Fear

When you start to realize it’s time to release your calling into the wild and really go for it, there’s a dance that is very common – the dance of faith and fear. Dr. Mossbridge guides you through a practice that supports your awareness of this dance in yourself and helps you understand how to begin to surrender to the universe.

Lesson 27

Surrender

Surrendering your soul’s work to the universe is the only way your calling will thrive. In this class, you will be guided through an exercise that calms your nerves as you surrender to the universe. You’ll be opening the gate that keeps your calling to yourself, and you’ll be actively seeking help from the universe for the progress of your calling.

Lesson 28

The Five Questions

You’re now ready to ask yourself the five questions that Dr. Mossbridge has asked hundreds of people about their calling, the answers to which informed this course. In this class, you’ll complete an exercise in which you’ll record in your lab notebook your answers to these five questions to be used in the next class.

Lesson 29

User’s Guide Revisions

Now that you’ve answered the five questions, it’s time to take another look at your User’s Guide. Does anything need to change? Is there a more concise version of your User’s Guide that you can create, knowing what you know now? Dr. Mossbridge will walk you through these questions and how to adjust your operation manual.

Lesson 30

Activating Your Evolving Calling

While your calling will always keep its essential core, it may grow and change, adding details and elements over time. In this final celebratory class, you’ll be guided through an acceptance and activation practice dedicated to your unique soul’s work and its evolution in time and space. Welcome to your calling – it is excited to have you home!
