‘Piga al Cel’ is a phrase in Catalan that holds a special meaning for me. It was how my sister affectionately referred to the moon during her childhood, seeing it as a delicate freckle in the sky. Her innocent and tender description left a lasting impression on me, inspiring me to compose a melody that captures the essence of this sentiment. I immersed myself in the gentle sounds of a felt piano and the soulful resonance of a violin to create a musical composition that evokes tranquility and relaxation.
