Not So Daily Affirmations - Episode 1
by Jim Butler
Welcome to my new video series, “Not So Daily Affirmations.” In each short episode — around five minutes or so — I’ll share an affirmation that’s recently crossed my path and spend a little time reflecting on what it means. I hope these videos bring you a moment of inspiration, insight, or peace. And as always, feel free to message me anytime with questions or thoughts. Thanks for being here, Jim

Hey everybody,
This is Jim Butler.
Welcome to my Insight Timer daily affirmations.
Episode.
How's everybody doing out there?
Hope everybody is doing well.
If you don't know me,
I am a new age musician.
I am here on Insight Time.
I do sound baths and sometimes solo piano.
All of the things.
So you can check out my bio here.
And also check out my music here on Insight Timer.
Ton of free music here for you to listen to and enjoy,
Help you sleep,
Relax,
Study.
All that type of stuff.
This is daily affirmation and it's not going to be daily.
I'm lying already.
Ha ha ha It will be when I can do it.
I've been doing them for a few years and I thought it would be nice since Insight Timers started doing videos.
That I would do.
A affirmation.
For,
Especially for insight time.
So there you go.
Hope you're doing well.
Hope everybody is okay.
What I usually do is just take a deep breath,
Relax for a second,
And I'll repeat today's.
Affirmation.
Three times.
Hope you can hear the birds.
And things going on around me out here.
This is my backyard,
Sitting on my couch here.
Today's affirmation.
Is.
I accept myself.
Unconditionally.
I accept myself unconditionally.
I accept myself unconditionally.
At the root of that,
It's belief in yourself.
It's also,
I think,
Acknowledging.
That no one is without fault.
No one is perfect.
I guess that's a better way to put it.
Explain that.
We,
I think deep down inside,
We all try to be good people.
And.
And I think part of being new is accepting.
The days when we're good and there's some days when you look back and go,
Wow.
That was not a great day for me.
But it also means.
Even when you have a bad day or you're not feeling great.
That you don't.
You don't reject yourself.
Still have faith in you and your humanity.
And your life.
It's.
.
.
You know,
Just because we make a mistake.
It doesn't mean you just like.
.
.
Just end it.
Just like,
Ugh.
That was a bad day.
I don't ever want to have a day again or something like that.
Is there because there's tomorrow.
We can always all improve on ourselves.
Every person has good and bad.
Always.
And I think for a lot of people,
There's a tiny little bad and a lot of good.
And you just have to balance that.
You just have to.
You know,
Accept.
That I am who I am.
There's no outside forces that should change that.
So this is just a little example of how I usually do these.
And.
.
.
I will do more.
It was supposed to be sunny,
But it's definitely getting cloudy out.
Always remember that you are worthy.
And that your friends love you,
Your family loves you.
And.
.
.
And we all need you around.
I think it's going to start raining about.
I don't know,
10 seconds or so,
So I am.
I am going to call it a morning.
And I do these outside.
I like doing them outside.
I'm not really sure why.
But it just feels better being outside,
Especially when it's nice out like this before it starts raining.
All right,
Peace to everyone.
Remember,
We all love you.
And I hope everybody has a great day,
Morning,
Afternoon.
Evening whenever you see this.
See you on the next one.
Peace.
Bye.
