Dear Lord Jesus,
I come to you,
Just as I am,
With all of my tired feelings.
I've been so tired lately of trying to make things work,
Of keeping everything going.
Even the daily chores feel too much.
I give you all of these health issues,
The struggles and challenges.
I give you my heart,
Jesus.
All of my weary feelings.
Thank you that you don't expect me to have it all together.
You don't expect me to be perfect or fine.
I can come to you just as I am with all of my feelings,
Just as they are.
I am loved.
You said,
Come to me,
All you who are weary and heavy burdened.
So I come to you right now.
I lay everything down at your feet.
You refresh the weary.
You satisfy the faint.
Thank you that you help me to listen to my body when it needs to stop.
That I can just be one with you.
That I can cease doing and just simply be.
You look to my heart.
Past the appearance of things.
Whether I can feel it or not.
You are with me.
Your strength is here for me.
I am not alone.
I give you all of my sleep rhythms.
You're the one who keeps watch during the night hours.
Help me,
Jesus,
To feel truly rested,
To get good sleep at night.
I will lie down and sleep in peace for you alone,
O Lord,
Keep me perfectly safe.
You said you would carry me all the way through this life.
And bring me safely to your heavenly kingdom.
You don't ask me to carry the weight of the world on my shoulders.
You are the one.
Who carries me.
I cast my burdens upon you.
You,
Lord Jesus,
Are my righteousness.
I am beautiful in your sight.
Fearfully.
And wonderfully made.
You are the deep well of compassion.
I draw from your spirit.
And drink a few.
I will draw water with joy.
From the springs of deliverance.
A smoldering wick.
You do not snuff out.
A bruised reed.
You do not break.
You are my god of comfort.
You are the one who carries me with everlasting arms of compassion.
I pray that you,
Lord Jesus,
Will work in all of the unseen places.
In all of the ways only you can bring life.
You give strength to the weary and burdened.
You will give me rest.
I will be still.
For you are God.
You give power and strength to me.
And your power works deeply and profoundly within me.
Please take everything I have no control over.
And let me rest in your love.
Your perfect love casts out all fear.
I will become fully restored and replenished in my spirit as I anchor myself in you.
My external circumstances don't have the final say.
You.
Are my faithful father.
And you will carry me as a father carries their child safely and surrounded by your protective embrace.
I will not worry about tomorrow.
You are in control of everything and you cause all of creation to live.
And move.
And have its being.
And you.
You will keep me in perfect peace with a steadfast mind as I place my trust fully in you.
You will give me a sound mind.
A spirit of love.
And of power.
You give me strength when I am weary.
You increase my power when I am weak.
The same power that raised you from the dead is alive in me.
Your energy,
Which so powerfully works in me,
And so I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
You lift me up and hide me in the shadow of your wings.
You restore my soul.
I will lie down in green pastures beside quiet waters and receive your deep prayers.
Inner restoration.
You are my mighty rock.
My safe place of refuge from the storm.
I receive your renewal.
I receive the silence of your healing spirit.
The deep quiet that waits for me.
In you.
I place all of my plans in your care.
I place all of my trust in your understanding.
I wait on your spirit.
