Using Anger To Build Something Beautiful

With Jen Knox

Anger can manifest in many ways. We are often urged to conquer or suppress extreme emotions. In this class, however, we will explore anger with a more curious mind. Anger does not have to burn us from the inside out. Together, we will allow our anger to come safely to the surface, and then find a way to build a new perspective from examining what feeds our flames. We are our own best teacher, and this class will be a reminder of all the power that lives within and how to use our energy in self-nurturing ways.

Lesson 1

Dancing With Our Anger

"Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves." -Carl Jung On Day 1, we explore our anger. On Day 2, we will work with what we found. As you head into this first practice, know that you will end the day in a place that allows us to find more harmony and a curious spirit around our fiery thoughts and feelings.

Lesson 2

Allowing Anger To Be Fuel, Not Fire

On Day 2, we will build off our renewed exploration of our anger. Today is about veering and steering our anger toward things that will uplift us and not pull us down.

I’ve been living with so much anger these days and feeling helpless. This meditation has helped me understand how to accept my anger and turn it into fuel. Fuel that I need to advocate, to resist and fight back. Thank you🙏🏼

A really interesting course. I felt the benefit of sitting with my anger and strong emotions and instead of trying to release them, exploring what purpose they serve and allowing my needs to be acknowledged, seen and heard. Thank you 🙏
