Aaron Reihs - Years

Cinema Subconscious, created amidst the Covid-19 quarantine, explores the ideas of conflicting world views on human entitlement, death, and their inevitable resulting in a rebirth of a planet. This album attempts to combine influences of cinematic, ambient, rock, psychedelic, electronic, and dance music in a way that reflects a personal accumulation of time spent in the film, television, and live performance worlds. This is the first solo project released by Aaron Reihs.

Wow! I think I felt every emotion in this short little piece. At first it felt like a nice quiet walk. Beautiful day. Life was great. Then it felt like, well if I stick with the walk scenario, it felt like I was on rocky ground, like the wind picked up and the temperature dropped and the sky started turning dark. Then, it really turned dark and I felt like I was in a storm. Wind, rain thunder, lightening. Scared. And then, finally, it felt like the sun came out again, letting me know I’m ok. Life is ok again. A true emotional roller coaster. Thanks for sharing this. It reminded me that life has its ups and downs and I can be strong and make it through tough times. 🥰💗🙏🏻
