Hi there,
It's Kyra here today guiding you through a lavender meditation for relaxation and peace.
So I invite you if you have some to take some lavender essential oil and maybe place a few drops in your diffuser or just sniffing straight from the bottle or perhaps taking a drop into the palms of the hands and breathing in deeply from your hands.
Then when you're ready finding yourself in a comfortable position,
Your choice of either sitting or lying down,
Whatever feels best for you today.
And when you're ready closing down the eyes and settling in to this meditation.
Let's begin by taking some deep breaths together in through the nose and out through the nose.
In through the nose and out through the nose.
One last deep breath in and as you exhale just letting go of any tension,
Letting your body relax and then resuming your normal breathing pattern.
As you continue to inhale deeply and evenly throughout this meditation,
Visualize the scent of the lavender oil.
It may take on a purple color or whatever color it happens to be for you.
Visualize the scent of the lavender oil traveling in through the nose and filling up your body with each inhale.
Letting the lavender oil travel in to the head space,
Relaxing the face,
Relaxing all those little muscles,
Your eyes,
Your forehead,
Your mouth.
Letting the lavender oil soften and relax every little muscle.
And as you continue to breathe in the lavender,
It travels down through the throat,
Down through the shoulders,
Relaxing and softening as it goes.
From the arms through to the hands and fingers,
Letting them become soft.
The scent of the lavender oil continues to move down your body,
Through your chest,
Through your belly,
Down the spine.
And as it travels down your body,
It relaxes and heals every little bit.
The scent of the lavender oil continues to move down your legs,
Down all the way to your feet.
And your entire body is now filled with this scent of relaxing lavender oil.
You feel grounded,
You feel calm,
You feel so relaxed.
Every muscle in your body is soft.
There is no tension left.
You feel so soft and relaxed that you feel like you could almost start floating.
In your mind's eye,
Begin to visualize a lavender field.
Lavender plants stretch on as far as your eyes can see.
The lavender flowers are so soft and fragrant.
You might begin to move through the rows of lavender plants,
Perhaps stopping to smell some lavender along the way,
Touching the soft plants,
Feeling your entire being,
Healing and relaxing the more you connect with the lavender plant.
You may choose to sit or lie down amongst the lavender plants to fully absorb the healing and relaxing energy.
In your mind's eye,
You find yourself totally at peace here in the lavender field.
There's nothing to worry about.
There's nowhere else you need to be right now except right here in this lavender field,
Relaxing,
Rejuvenating,
Feeling completely at peace.
