I have tried listening to different storm recordings. They are all good but I always end up turning them off. At the beginning I wondered if the bird chirping was fake. That's what kept me listening and the storm kept developing so naturally and put me to sleep. I loved it. I used to live on the Southern Oregon coast; the land of perpetual rain. It rarely thundered, much like this recording. I wonder if this was recorded there? I will definitely listen. again. Thank you

This soundscape is my favourite. The rolling of the bell and the birds seeking shelter set the scene and the intensity of the storm fades to a steady rain and thunder. It never fails to get me to sleep or get me back to sleep if I wake during the night.

The bells at the beginning kind of set an ominous tone first but the rain afterwards is soothing. It would be nice if it had a little more low rumbling Thunder and a softer rain like the ones we used to have in Chicago. But it is a relaxing period have a magical day.

I love a good hard rain storm. I'm not sure why people are complaining about the lovey church bell ringing the hour, it's nice and helps to set the context of the storm's location. Thank you for this recording.
