Lethe

A calming flow of sounds, mainly of kalimba, electric guitar, and airy vocals. Lethe, the river of forgetfulness in Greek mythology, symbolizes for me the release of memories that keeps one tied to the past. In this song, I attempted to give expression to the experience of releasing thoughts of the past and opening to emptiness. The spaces we leave empty will eventually be filled by Love.

I found this piece to be soothing, relaxing and very peaceful. I started off stiff with pain and almost immediately began to relax. By the end I was substantially more relaxed and my heart had stopped pounding. Thank you so very much.
ps. 2min in I put it on repeat, I don't remember the exact time, but it was at least 4 or 5 times.
