Take a couple of minutes out of your day for this short, guided meditation to bring you back to stillness. There is no music on this track to allow you to have awareness of your surroundings. I hope you enjoy it.

Let's take a moment to sit quietly.

If you haven't already,

Take a seat,

Close your eyes and come to a place of stillness.

Take a deep breath in and sigh it out.

Take another deep breath in and sigh it out.

In this place of stillness just start to notice how you're feeling,

The feel of your legs against the surface you're sat on,

Any sensations in your hands,

The temperature,

Any sounds around you.

Just notice.

There's no right or wrong to this,

We're just taking a bit of time out of our day to sit quietly.

If any thoughts pop into your head just notice them,

Acknowledge them.

Just feel the stillness in your body,

Feel the calm as you gently breathe.

Enjoy this moment of peace.

Take a couple of deeper breaths now,

Give your feet a little wiggle and your hands a gentle squeeze.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.
