Five minute qigong meditation instructions.

Back upright,

Sit in a comfortable position.

Rest the back of your hands on your lap,

Palms upright.

Gently connect the tip of your thumb with your index finger,

Making a relaxed o.

Close your eyes.

Begin by taking a large deep breath in and a slow breath out.

Now simply observe your breathing.

Nothing more,

Nothing less.

Continue to observe your breathing.

Now move your thumb to connect with your middle finger.

Gently extend your out-breath.

Gently extend your out-breath.

Now move your thumb to connect with your middle finger.

Now move your thumb to connect with your middle finger.

Now move your thumb to connect gently with your ring finger.

Gently focusing on the energy building up between your fingertips.

Now move your thumb to connect with your ring finger.

Now move your thumb to connect gently to your little finger.

Simply observe your breathing.

Now move your thumb to connect with your ring finger.

Now move your thumb to connect with your ring finger.

I really like the guidance and palms up with thumbs moving through my other fingers - easy for me to go deep. My chest feels so heavy though. Heart disease or trauma?
