If you've been caring a lot lately.

I want to remind you of something simple but important today.

You are allowed to slow down.

Many people move through life.

Feeling pressure.

To constantly keep going.

Stay productive.

To keep pushing.

To hold everything together.

And sometimes we become so used to surviving that slowing down can actually begin to feel uncomfortable.

But rest is not weakness.

Pausing is not failure.

And taking care of your nervous system is not selfish.

Even a few intentional moments of slowing down can help your body remember that it does not need to remain in a constant state of tension.

So for the next few moments,

Give yourself permission to soften.

Just a little.

Relax your shoulders if you can.

Unclench your jaw.

Take one slow breath in.

And gently.

Exhale.

You do not need to solve your entire life today.

You do not need to carry everything all at once.

Right now,

This moment.

Is the now.

Thank you for spending these few quiet moments with me today.
