Hi,
I'm Dr.
Hana Leah Jo Harsh,
You with Soft Heart Psychology.
I'd like us to do a meditation with the inner baby for today.
I want to greet your inner baby and thank any protector parts that may come up during this meditation.
If you know your birth history,
I'd like us to spend time and compassion for the inner part of you who came into this world.
If you don't know how you came into this world,
That's perfectly okay too.
This meditation welcomes you especially.
Sometimes people feel comfortable holding their hand over their heart.
If this hand over the heart causes dysphoria,
You can hold something heavy in your arms like a thick blanket.
Do whatever's right here for you right now.
Let's close our eyes if that feels safe for you.
As you spend a few minutes with baby you reflections may arise.
Hold little you like you needed to be held back then.
Dear sweet little one.
Sometimes caregivers help so much intergenerational stress and trauma that it was hard to hold you to.
That's not your fault.
Their inner baby likely needed holding to right here,
Right now.
Spend a few moments giving your inner baby what they needed all along.
You can hold baby you,
Perhaps rock baby you.
Maybe baby you wants to know that they're loved and enough.
Be quiet for a moment so you can give baby you whatever they need.
When you're ready to return,
You can gently open your eyes.
Fear not that this is a short time because baby you will learn to trust that you'll be back.
Thank you for joining in this time together.
Please do feel free to come back here to honor these parts of you as often as you'd like.
You are enough.
You are welcome here.
Thank you so much for giving little you and inner parts this special time.
Feel free to come back to this meditation when you'd like.
Until next time,
Sending gentleness to your soft heart.
