Denny grew up in Macau and immigrated to San Francisco as a teenager. He received his Ph.D. in engineering from UC Berkeley and was an Assistant Professor at UCLA for nine years. He started two companies and after retirement, Denny met and started to study under Master Jiru in 2016. Denny is currently hosting a LIVE practice every Saturday at 7:30 am PST on Insight-Timer, where he leads the practice of "mindful" healing to reverse premature aging, building harmony between body, Qi and mind.
