Christina Hildebrandt has been working with sound for more than 25 of her 30+ year bodywork practice. It all started when her massage client's body just wouldn't let go of its muscular tension; when "a little voice" told her to tone as she glided down the muscles and the muscles completely let go, she began to understand the power of sound! Since then, Christina has used sound- singing bowls, tanpura, harp, drum, chimes and voice- in her manual therapy practice as an important tool to help her clients' bodies bring up and process experience that has been trapped there for years. In addition to her sound healing and manual therapy practice in Longmont, Colorado, Christina offers sound baths at a local yoga studio and in people's homes, brings her bowls to various celebratory and educational events, and sings in a Baroque ensemble in Boulder, Colorado.
