Psalm 18 35-36 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation,

And thy right hand hath holden me up,

And thy gentleness hath made me great.

Thou hast enlarged my steps under me,

That my feet did not slip.

Psalm 27 Some trust in chariots and some in horses,

But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.

Psalm 23 The Lord is my shepherd,

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.

In the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me.

Psalm 34 22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants,

And none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

Psalm 37 9 For evildoers shall be cut off,

But those that wait upon the Lord,

They shall inherit the earth.

Psalm 37 40 And the Lord shall help them,

And deliver them.

He shall deliver them from the wicked,

And save them,

Because they trust in him.

Psalm 46 1-3 God is our refuge and strength,

A very present help in trouble.

Therefore will not we fear,

Though the earth be removed,

And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea,

Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled,

Psalm 48 14 For this God is our God for ever and ever.

He will be our guide even unto death.

Because He hath set His love upon me,

Therefore will I deliver Him.

I will set Him on high,

With long life will I satisfy Him and show Him my salvation.

Psalm 94 22 But the Lord is my defense,

And my God is the rock of my refuge.

Psalm 104 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,

And into His courts with praise.

Be thankful unto Him,

And bless His name.

Psalm 118 6 The Lord is on my side.

I will not fear.

What can man do unto me?

For the moral shall take thought for the things of itself,

Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

What shall we then say to these things?

If God be for us,

Who can be against us?

He that spared not his own Son,

But delivered him up for us all,

How shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect?

It is God that justifieth.

Who is he that condemneth?

It is Christ that died,

Yea rather that is risen again,

Who is even at the right hand of God,

Who also maketh intercession for us.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

Shall tribulation,

Or distress,

Or persecution,

Or famine,

Or nakedness,

Or peril,

Or sword?

As it is written,

For thy sake we are killed all the day long.

We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Nay,

In all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

For I am persuaded that neither death,

Nor life,

Nor angels,

Nor principalities,

Nor powers,

Nor things present,

Nor things to come,

Nor height,

Nor depth,

Nor any other creature,

Shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 10 17 So then faith cometh by hearing,

And hearing by the word of God.

Romans 12 21 Be not overcome of evil,

But overcome evil with good.

1 Corinthians 10 13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man.

But God is faithful who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able.

But will would the temptation also make a way to escape,

That he would grant you according to the riches of his glory to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith,

That ye,

Being rooted and grounded in love,

May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth,

And length,

And depth,

And height,

And to know the love of Christ,

Which passeth knowledge,

That ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think,

According to the power that worketh in us,

Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages,

World without end.

Ephesians 6 10-13 Finally,

My brethren,

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.

Put on the whole armor of God,

That ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,

But against principalities,

Against powers,

Against the rulers of the darkness of this world,

Against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God,

That ye may be able to withstand in the evil day,

And having done all,

To stand.

Philippians 1 6 Being confident of this very thing,

That he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Philippians 4 4 Rejoice in the Lord always,

Everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry,

Both to abound and to suffer need.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Philippians 4 19 But my God shall supply all your need,

1 Thessalonians 5 16-18 Rejoice evermore,

Pray without ceasing,

In everything give thanks,

For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1 Thessalonians 5 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly,

And I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Timothy 1 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear,

But of power and of love and of a sound mind.

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God,

And is profitable for doctrine,

For reproof,

For correction,

For instruction in righteousness,

That the man of God may be perfect,

Thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

2 Timothy 4 17-18 Notwithstanding,

The Lord stood with me and strengthened me,

That by me the preaching might be fully known,

And that all the Gentiles might hear,

And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work,

And will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom,

To whom be glory for ever and ever.

Hebrews 4 15-16 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities,

But was in all points tempted like as we are,

Yet without sin.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace,

That we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 10 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering,

For he is faithful that promised.

For ye have need of patience,

That after ye have done the will of God,

But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition,

Hebrews 11 24-26 By faith Moses,

When he was come to years,

Refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter,

Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season,

Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt,

For he had respect unto the recompense of the reward.

Hebrews 12 1-3 Wherefore,

Seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses,

Let us lay aside every weight and the sin which doth so easily beset us,

And let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

Looking unto Jesus,

The author and finisher of our faith,

Who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross,

And is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself,

Lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Hebrews 13 5-6 Let your conversation be without covetousness,

So that we may boldly say,

The Lord is my helper,

Count it all joy when ye fall into diverse temptations,

That the trying of your faith worketh patience.

But let patience have her perfect work,

For when he is tried,

He shall receive the crown of life,

Resist the devil,

Might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ,

Receiving the end of your faith,

Even the salvation of your souls.

1 Peter 2 9-10 But ye are a chosen generation,

A royal priesthood,

And holy nation,

A peculiar people,

That ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light,

Which in time past were not a people,

But are now the people of God which had not obtained mercy,

But now have obtained mercy.

1 Peter 2 20-24 For what glory is it,

If when ye be buffeted for your faults,

Ye shall take it patiently?

But if,

When ye do well and suffer for it,

Ye take it patiently,

This is acceptable with God.

For even hereunto were ye called,

Because Christ also suffered for us,

Leaving us an example,

That ye should follow his steps.

Who did no sin,

Neither was guile found in his mouth.

Who,

When he was reviled,

Reviled not again.

When he suffered,

He threatened not,

But committed himself to him that judgeth righteously.

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree,

That we,

Being dead to sins,

Should live unto righteousness,

By whose stripes ye were healed.

1 Peter 3 12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous,

And his ears are open unto their prayers.

But the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

1 Peter 3 14-18 But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake,

Happy are ye,

And be not afraid of their terror,

Neither be troubled.

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts,

And be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you of reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.

Having a good conscience,

That whereas they speak evil of you,

As of evildoers,

They may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

For it is better if the will of God be so,

That ye suffer for well-doing than for evil-doing.

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins,

The just for the unjust,

That he might bring us to God,

Being put to death in the flesh,

But quickened by the Spirit.

1 Peter 4 12-14 Beloved,

Think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you,

As though some strange thing happened unto you.

But rejoice,

Inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings,

That when his glory shall be revealed,

Ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

If ye be reproached for the name of Christ,

Happy are ye,

For the Spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you.

On their part he is evil spoken of,

But on your part he is glorified.

1 Peter 4 16-19 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian,

Let him not be ashamed,

But let him glorify God on this behalf.

Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well-doing,

As unto a faithful Creator.

1 Peter 5 7 Casting all your care upon him,

For he careth for you.

1 John 3 1 Behold,

What manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us,

That we should be called the sons of God.

Therefore the world knoweth us not,

Because it knew him not.

1 John 3 22 And whatsoever we ask,

We receive of him,

Because we keep his commandments and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

1 John 4 4 Ye are of God,

Little children,

And have overcome them,

Because greater is he that is in you,

Than he that is in the world.

1 John 4 18 There is no fear in love,

But perfect love casteth out fear,

Because fear hath torment.

He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

1 John 5 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world,

And this is the victory that overcometh the world,

Even our faith.

1 John 5 14 15 And this is the confidence that we have in him,

That if we ask anything according to his will,

He heareth us.

And if we know that he heareth us,

Whatsoever we ask,

We know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

1 John 5 18-20 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not,

But he that is begotten of God keepeth himself,

And that wicked one toucheth him not.

And we know that we are of God,

And the whole world lieth in wickedness.

And we know that the Son of God is come,

And hath given us an understanding,

That we may know him that is true,

And we are in him that is true,

Even in his Son,

Jesus Christ.

This is the true God and eternal life.

Revelation 2 7 He that hath an ear,

Let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life,

Which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Revelation 12 10-11 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,

Now is come salvation,

And strength,

And the kingdom of our God,

And the power of his Christ.

For the accuser of our brethren is cast down,

Which accused them before our God day and night.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb,

And by the word of their testimony,

And they loved not their lives unto the death.

Revelation 21 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things,

And I will be his God,

And he shall be my Son.

Revelation 22 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
