Summer storms were big and violent where I grew up. In my home now, they tend to be gentle and slow. This meditation is recording while listening to a recording I made in our backyard as a storm approached and the rain started. You can imagine the thunder, and the drops of rain, but also the birds that kept chirping and a lawnmower somewhere in the neighborhood. You can also hear the reflections of past storms in your memory. There is calmness and stillness here, even in the middle of the storm

This was really soothing. At first this took me to a green open field. The beauty and peace I felt there was phenomenal. Eventually, it took me to my childhood. It was a Sunday afternoon when my parents, grandfather, and us kids had spent the late morning and early afternoon putting in hay because storms were coming. We had just finished and the sky opened up. We ended up playing outside in the pouring rain, soaked and muddy, but having the time of our lives. Simple. Pure. Free. Thanks for sharing this. It brought back a wonderful memory of a simpler time, of a memory of the wonderful life I have been blessed with. 🥰🥰🥰
