Welcome.
You are.
Most likely in the phase where exhaustion and tiredness are at the front stage.
Maybe where more excuses come up.
Or things need to be a certain way.
And that's okay.
Allow yourself to be however you physically need to be right now.
Is that laying in bed or on the couch?
Is that in the car.
Parked.
Maybe pulling the seat back slightly.
Are you sitting on your front stoop?
However you are at this time,
Wherever you are.
If it is physically and emotionally safe to do so,
Feel free to close your eyes.
Give yourself.
A little scan within you.
Observing what you feel.
Sensory-wise.
And as you do this,
Can you take an easy breath in through the nose?
And an easy breath out through the mouth.
What is it like for you to just allow yourself to be right where you are?
Nothing needs to change.
At least not in this moment.
And for some of us,
It might feel more comfortable to have a notebook in front of us.
To be hearing the recording.
And to reflect through words written on the page.
However this feels to you,
However this needs to be.
Can you give yourself permission?
And breathe.
Offer some thanks and gratitude for just showing up.
And pressing play.
For taking one moment.
To consciously inhale and exhale.
And simply letting yourself observe.
Your physical body.
As well as any internal state that you're in.
This time of the month,
Your cycle.
This phase.
Or even this time in your life.
Can bring its own challenges.
Breathe here.
You don't have to solve them in this moment.
You can simply acknowledge that they are there.
And notice what else is true.
You are here.
Breathing.
Noticing.
There are noises.
Her smells.
You sense things through various ways.
And yet you are still here,
Breathing.
Give yourself a few conscious breaths here.
Again,
Inhaling through the nose,
Nice and slow.
Noticing the belly and the heart.
As you breathe in.
And then on the exhale,
Letting everything out slowly through the mouth.
Notice the belly and heart.
Can you?
Simply be in the flow of your breath.
Notice.
When it feels right.
And only when it feels right.
Give yourself.
A moment.
To ask what you need.
Maybe it's this.
Maybe it's to allow the body.
To drift into sleep.
Maybe it's something else.
Listen for what that answer is.
And take an easy inhale.
And a slow breath out.
There's nothing more you need to do.
