So this is a guided relaxation,
It'll last about 10 minutes or so.
Just making sure you're nice and comfortable before we begin.
Do any last minute stretches you need to do.
And when you're ready,
Maybe taking a couple of nice deep breaths.
Just breathing in and letting it all out.
Let's begin now by gently closing the eyes,
And for the moment just focus on where you think your bottom eyelid meets your top eyelid.
Just see if you can get a sense of where your bottom eyelid meets your top eyelid.
And now move your focus slightly to all the muscles around your mouth,
Jaw,
Cheeks,
And just relax them all.
All those muscles nice and relaxed,
In your shoulders and neck just letting go,
Feel any tension flowing out.
And as the tension flows out,
Maybe you get a sense of heaviness.
Feeling the arms become nice and relaxed,
Loose and limp.
Muscles nice and relaxed,
Feeling the arms becoming heavy.
Listening to my voice,
But just allow your mind to go wherever it wants.
And now feeling muscles in your chest becoming nice and relaxed,
Tension flowing out.
Tummy is nice and relaxed.
Notice your tummy moving in and out,
As your breath moves in and out.
Tummy completely relaxed.
Your whole upper body becoming heavier and heavier,
As you become more and more relaxed.
Now just place your focus on your legs.
Notice the tension flowing out,
All the muscles in your thighs nice and relaxed.
Calf muscles nice and relaxed,
Legs feeling heavier and heavier.
Perhaps even notice your feet and toes are heavier and heavier.
Your whole body feeling more and more relaxed,
Heavier and heavier.
Sinking down deeper and deeper,
And you become more and more relaxed.
To travel wherever it wants to go,
Just letting go.
Just focusing on your right leg.
Focus on that sensation of heaviness in your right leg.
And now the heaviness turns into bubbles and the bubbles float away.
Leaving your right leg feeling nice and light,
Almost like it's floating.
And now focus on your left leg and notice as the heaviness turns into bubbles and those bubbles float away.
Both legs now feel light,
Feeling like they're floating.
Allow your mind to feel any sensations it wants to feel,
Just letting go.
Now notice your tummy and chest as the heaviness turns into bubbles and floats away.
Leaving your whole torso feeling nice and light.
Your arms become nice and light as the heaviness bubbles and floats away.
Shoulders,
Neck,
Head,
All becoming nice and light as the heaviness floats away.
Just feeling the sensation of your whole body floating,
Floating wherever it wants to.
Smiling,
Happy.
Gently returning to your body now,
Returning to your body.
Gently just focusing on the different parts of your body,
Perhaps get a sense of what they are touching.
Your mattress,
Your chair,
Perhaps your feet are on the floor.
As we prepare to return back to your space,
Just get a sense of your legs,
Torso,
Arms,
Shoulders,
Head.
And once you've got that sensation of being back in your space,
Maybe stretch out whatever needs stretching.
And when you're ready,
Gently opening your eyes,
Feeling nice and relaxed,
Revitalized.
