Take a deep breath in and hold it for a moment as we focus on the root chakra.

The Bidra mantra or seed sound for the root chakra is LAM.

The Sanskrit name is Nudara.

It means root or support and it is located at the base of the spine.

Visualize a ruby red lotus with four petals.

As you contemplate the red of the lotus,

See it radiating from its center as a vibrant ruby red light.

A red light that will float along with your breath and attention to your kidneys,

Spine,

Colon,

Legs and feet.

As you breathe with healing intention,

Focus your breath sending that red light into those areas of your body.

Earth is the element that is connected to the root chakra.

The earth is there to provide support.

Continue to breathe deeply,

Guiding the healing red light through your body.

Into the root chakra at the base of your spine.

Imagine the earth as a solid yet gentle hand holding your body in the present moment.
