I have been practicing for a little over a year using a mixture of Hindi and Buddhist practices, and I found this interesting. Challenging, but interesting.

I used the auspicious pose (swatstikana), and was not able to maintain the pose of the arms for the full duration. Arm poses are new to me, as is chanting, though I have begun to use mantras occasionally non verbally in practice.

I am curious- would you recommend a less advanced meditation due to one’s inability to hold the arm pose for the duration? And for those unfamiliar with chanting and the language, is it appropriate or advisable to follow the chant mentally? In other words, would the aforementioned practice still be beneficial despite the given limitations?
