You're not crazy.

Dear one,

Remember that time when you thought about doing something big?

For a minute,

When no one was watching,

You imagined what it would be like.

But then,

Fear caught you red-handed.

No,

That's crazy,

She said.

So you pushed that thought away.

But every time you'd let your guards down,

It'd come back.

And every time,

You'd feel your body lean towards it,

Like iron to a magnet.

But fear would come running in.

Like a mother who realizes she's left her baby with a can of red paint.

You're crazy,

She says.

You look at her,

Just like a child,

Startled and confused by her mother's no.

Your body is screaming yes!

You want,

But you're told you can't.

You want to believe,

But you feel crazy for wanting that.

Listen to me,

My love.

Listen to me carefully.

Because I know.

Trust me.

I know.

You're not crazy.

You're magic.
