Rachel’s artistry has taken her to stages across the globe, and her journey continues as she shares authentic, soul-stirring performances that celebrate resilience, culture, and community. She holds a commitment to using music as a tool for healing, advocacy, and social change. Rachel has had 10+ years of experience providing therapy in treating substance use disorders, LGBTQ+ mental health, and life transitions. Experienced in using evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT, and feminist therapy, she is dedicated to creating inclusive, supportive environments for those in need. She believes Spiritual self-care is an important routine to implement. In her meditation series, Maxann draws from her experience as an LMFT as well as her experience in southern integrative folk to create a unique flow experience. Meant for those with wandering minds, we explore multiple facets of what meditation can mean: singing, humming, listening, and/or chanting, but in all ways Feeling. She is a follower of the Orishas; however, she believes that every practice is valid, and an open heart is always welcome. I look forward to practicing with you, until then, take care of yourself.
