Hi everyone,
Welcome to this heart chakra anahata meditation.
This is a meditation that is going to help you to connect to the energy of the heart.
It'll help you to connect to feelings of love,
Kindness,
Compassion and forgiveness and the heart is where our soul resides,
It's where our true self stands.
So this can be a really powerful tool just to help you to connect to those deep parts of yourself that want to step forward and be here and now.
As always,
Just finding a nice comfortable position,
Whether that's lying down or seated.
You might also want to,
If you like,
You can use some essential oils.
You might like to use a rose oil or a candle.
So with the oils,
You can just gently place the oils and just gently massage them,
Rub them into your heart space.
With a candle,
You can just gently light that as well.
Once the space is all comfortable and ready,
Finding that position that feels good for you.
As you close down your eyes,
Just take a nice big arriving breath in and a releasing breath out the mouth.
Again,
Nice big breath in and a releasing breath out.
Maybe gently closing the lips now and just allowing the breath just to flow in and out of the nostrils.
As you just allow yourself to arrive and to settle into the space,
Just feeling into the four walls of the room and just feeling your body breathing in this space,
In this room.
And as you're breathing on the inhale,
Notice the soft expansion of the belly.
As you exhale,
Just noticing belly gently and naturally drawing in towards the spine.
Again,
Inhale expanding into the belly,
Exhale deflating the belly.
And as you're just softly and gently breathing into the space,
Into the room,
Just feeling your seat,
All those points of connection where your body touches the ground,
Touches the earth.
So feeling that steadiness,
Feeling that solidity.
And in that steadiness and in that solidity,
I'm just going to call in the guidance and the protection of our guides,
The divine mother.
So the divine mother is the earth,
But the divine mother is also within us.
It is that feminine energy.
You might also wish to connect to other feminine figures and goddesses.
You might wish to bring in the energy of Mary Magdalene.
You might like to bring in the energy of Isis,
Maybe the energy of Hathor and maybe the energy of Inanna or any other goddesses that you work with that you want to call in today to offer their love and their support and their protection.
Take a nice big inhale,
Draw the energy from the earth through the feet all the way up into the body,
Into your root.
Exhale,
Expand that energy.
So imagining this line of energy from the earth as a golden glow.
Again,
Inhale,
Draw that energy from the earth into the feet all the way up into your sacral space below the belly button.
And exhale,
Expanding that energy.
Again,
Drawing that energy all the way up into your solar plexus now.
Exhale,
Expanding that energy.
Inhale,
Drawing that energy all the way up into your heart now.
And then exhale,
Expanding that energy.
Now we can create a protective bubble of light around our beings for this practice.
You can keep drawing that energy upwards into the throat.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Inhale,
Drawing your energy up into the third eye.
Exhale.
Again,
Inhale,
Drawing that energy all the way up into the crown.
And then exhale,
Expanding it outwards.
So just maybe visualizing a fountain flowing out of the top of the head now.
That fountain turns into a bubble of light surrounding your being.
And this bubble of light feels soft,
It feels protective,
You feel relaxed.
And maybe just gently visualizing yourself softly floating in that bubble of light but then at the same time feeling the depth and the groundedness through those roots that energetically connect you to the earth.
Softly breathing into this bubble of light into your being,
Knowing that you have the guidance and the protection of your guides and any spirit guides that you might have called in as well.
We're just going to start to draw our attention to the heart space.
You're going to inhale,
Through the nose,
Expand into the heart for 1,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Exhale,
Out the nose.
1,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Inhale into the heart for 1,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Exhale,
Expanding the energy.
Exhale,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Another inhale into the heart for 1,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Exhale,
Expanding the energy field of the heart now.
So just keeping the breath nice and steady but as you're breathing just imagine and sensing the space to the front of the heart now.
Expanding our energy field of the heart and as you're breathing noticing the space to the sides of your heart.
Noticing the space below your heart.
Noticing the space above the heart and then noticing the space to the back of the heart.
So we are beyond our bodies,
We're the energy field beyond our bodies and our chakras,
Our energy center,
Expand with our awareness.
So as we're just breathing into the heart we're really going to start to tune into the frequency of love that the divine feminine are tuning into,
That the divine feminine ancestors tune into,
That the goddesses are tuning into and demonstrating to us through their archetypes.
But really starting to recognize what the feeling of love might look like and might feel like and the very simplest way that we can tune into that frequency of love is to just connect with a memory of either a person or an animal or your favorite place now and just feel that in your heart space and maybe see it in your mind's eye so really connect quite strongly.
If you find this challenging the most simplest way you can do this I've always found is if you have a pet connecting with my cat I just can feel her in my heart,
I can see her in my mind's eye and already I can feel my heart swelling with that love.
So I'm just holding this vision,
I'm holding this feeling and then at the same time if you can hold that feeling,
That vision,
I'd like you to visualize a heart,
A rose apologies,
At your heart.
What color is that rose?
How beautiful does that rose look?
Just gently take a scent of the rose now,
Just smell the rose and noticing how that rose makes you feel as well as holding this vision,
That memory of love.
Whatever it was that you were connecting to,
See it,
Smell it,
Taste it,
Feel it,
Touch it now.
And this is the power of our imagination to really connect and manifest desires and feelings and memories.
Keep staying with it now.
Stay a little bit longer,
Really wanting to tune into this frequency of love.
And essentially this frequency of love is what you feel and hold for yourself as well as what you give out to the world and as well as what you receive from others.
We're going to begin with a gentle and nourishing heart conversation now with the heart.
So I felt it was important to connect with the frequency of love first.
In a way that was fairly neutral but we're going to go a little bit deeper now.
So just noticing with this exercise if you feel any sort of resistance or you feel any sort of feelings of pain or sadness,
Arise and I'll guide you through and I'll guide you through to connect your higher self with your inner child so that you can just move through this exercise with love and compassion and forgiveness.
So as you're holding,
Maybe you'd like to take your hands on your heart if you haven't already done that and you're just holding your heart with such tenderness,
Such softness.
And if your heart were a being,
What would your heart look like?
Your heart represents your true self,
Your soul and your deepest desires.
So just for a moment,
Really connecting with gratitude to this really important part of yourself.
And based on what you know of your heart,
What do you think your heart is going to want to hear from you in this moment?
How would you start that conversation with the heart?
Now we're going to ask the heart some direct questions,
So just take your time with this.
Maybe begin by just asking your heart,
What makes you unhappy?
And you might feel a response in your body,
You might hear a response in your ears,
You might see a response in your mind's eye,
Or there might just be a new response.
Knowing that comes through,
So there's different ways that the heart communicates with us.
And if you're feeling any sadness around the response that your heart is giving you,
Just know,
Or if there's any fear,
You're just going to,
At the same time as holding this conversation,
You're going to see the heart as the being,
As your true self.
And then you're going to see perhaps a younger version of yourself,
The child like you.
And the heart,
Your true self,
And this younger you,
They're just gently going to join and hold hands now,
Or you might even like to visualize them in an embrace,
A gentle cuddle,
A hug.
Remember that these parts of yourself are deeply intertwined and connected,
That they may have been separated for whatever reason.
And now is the time to reconnect them so they can support one another,
Love one another,
Listen to each other,
And make space to step forward so that you can be your truest,
Most divine self.
Perhaps now,
Once you've felt you've received a response from the heart,
Just maybe asking the heart now,
What do you dislike?
Again,
Just feeling into the response,
Just holding lots of love and kindness here.
And then asking your heart,
Once you feel you've had that response,
And you're just taking note of that,
No judgment,
Just allowing it to be,
This is what the heart is sharing with you,
You're just listening.
Asking your heart,
If you had one wish of me,
What would it be?
Just feeling,
Waiting for the response,
Taking it in.
And if you're feeling any emotion arising,
Just hold the little you so dearly now,
So closely,
That higher you,
Is just gently reassuring the little you,
It's okay.
It doesn't matter about the choices that you've made up until now,
The most important thing is that you're here together now,
And you're listening to each other,
You're giving each other that space to move forward with love,
With truth.
And then maybe asking your heart,
Is there anything else that I need to know?
And if you feel in this moment that you're able to fulfill and are ready to fulfill the wishes of your heart in this sitting,
Although it may take several sittings,
And it may take some time to work through those wishes,
But maybe just let your heart know,
I'm going to fulfill those wishes for you now.
And then just gently expressing your love and your gratitude for your heart's wisdom and intuition.
You see the higher you,
The heart embracing the little you with so much love,
So much tenderness,
So much care.
You acknowledge your heart's importance in how it supports your body,
Pumping blood to every single organ,
Nourishing you,
Nurturing you,
Keeping you alive,
But also driving you forward of love and purpose in life.
You promise to your heart now that you'll listen to them on a daily basis,
And that you'll be here to listen to their desires and their needs.
And your heart lets you know that they will do the same for you,
That they're here for you,
And that they have your best interests at heart.
Again,
You just observe the gentle embrace,
The love,
The connection.
And just promising each other you'll never let each other go now,
You're intertwined,
No separation.
It's the separation that creates the misalignment.
It's the separation that can create the pain.
Take a nice big breath in now,
And an exhale out.
We're going to just do a little bit of vocal toning into the heart chakra.
So if you felt that was any emotion that arose or there's anything you want to release from that go now,
This is an opportunity to do so.
We're going to vocal tone ah,
Which you'll feel in your heart space.
We'll repeat that three times.
Take an inhale,
Ah,
And if you feel like you want to do a little bit of tapping around the heart as well,
You can do that.
Just taking a few steady breaths here.
And just coming back into full connection of your being,
Your body,
Noticing the connection to the crown,
To the earth,
Holding that steadiness,
That stability.
And just thanking the protection and the guidance,
The guidance of your spirits and your guides.
In this meditation journey.
And come back to this meditation whenever you need to have a deep heart conversation.
Whenever you need that full presence,
That space,
That awareness.
When you're ready,
Slowly coming back into the space,
Releasing those rippling toes.
Maybe leaving the head a gentle little nod from side to side.
Maybe giving the head just a nice little circle.
And then coming back through to centre,
Maybe bringing the palms together,
Give them a nice good rub.
Take those hands to your face,
Just feel that warmth,
Feel what I'm doing.
Hands at heart centre.
