Dear life,
Thank you for bringing me.
At this crossroads,
We'd have to make really difficult choices.
The choices that seem so irrational,
So different,
So scary and yet so right.
The choices that make me question everything that I thought I knew about me or you.
The choices that brought me to my knees,
Trembling,
To trust and to let go,
And not knowing where to start one and end the another.
The choices that don't make any sense and yet make so much sense.
The choices that seems like I'm about to get out of my cocoon and evolve into a beautiful butterfly,
But at the same time,
I feel the pain so intense that I want to stay right here in my cocoon.
The choices that are changing me in a very different way,
In a way I could have never imagined before.
The choices that seem so easy and yet so hard at the same time.
The choices that make me shiver and tremble and excite me and race my heart at the same time.
Oh,
These choices.
These choices,
I wonder,
Sometimes are they were mine to begin with?
Or are these more construct of our minds?
For it is in these choices,
These spaces of unknowing,
Something so powerful takes over me,
That I feel I really don't have a choice.
I really don't have a choice but to surrender to that inner knowing of this path that I must embark on.
This path that was always there within me before even I was born,
Hidden within me,
And it is only now that I can see glimpses of it,
Little glimmers of it,
And maybe that's how it is.
Maybe it is on this path that I meet myself,
I remember myself and embrace myself for who I am.
Thank you for this reminder,
Dear life,
To meet myself,
To see myself in a way I could have never seen myself before.
And thank you for creating that space within me.
For it is in these spaces that I see my courage,
My strength,
My love for myself.
For it is in these spaces that I see the world differently with awe and wonder.
Was this even here before?
For it is in these spaces of nothingness,
Emptiness,
I feel everything,
I see everything.
For it is in the spaces of chaos and messiness,
I find stillness.
For it is in the space of destruction and falling apart,
I find the courage,
The strength to build,
To bloom,
And to blossom.
For it is in the spaces of pain and fear,
I find courage,
I find hope,
I find resilience.
For it is in the spaces of despair and darkness,
I find dreams,
I find hopes,
I find future.
For it is in this space I feel differently within me and outside of me.
For it is in the spaces I love differently and I live differently.
For it is in the spaces I find who truly I am,
And maybe,
And maybe who I am yet to be.
For I would never know fully in this space of who I can yet to be.
Thank you,
Thank you dear life for creating this space within me and this space outside of me.
It seems hard to be in this space and yet I surrender to this knowing of what it is,
Of trust,
Of willingness to let go,
And openness to embrace something new and beautiful.
Thank you,
My dear life,
For bringing me here.
Thank you,
My dear life,
For bringing me here so soon.
Thank you,
My dear life,
For opening this up within me.
