Welcome to the energetic cord-cutting meditation.
This meditation will help you cut any remaining unhelpful energetic attachments and connections you may have with a person whose connection or relationship no longer serves you.
Let's start by either laying down or sitting in a comfortable position,
Taking a moment to settle in in your position.
And now becoming aware of your breathing without forcing anything,
Just simply noticing the movements in your body as you breathe in and breathe out.
Noticing any movements,
Any sensations in your body,
Allowing yourself to be in the present moment.
Now taking some time for conscious breathing,
Breathing in through the nose and breathing out through your mouth,
Making your out-breath longer than your in-breath if you are able to,
Breathing in and breathing out,
Fully exhaling all the air when you breathe out,
And pausing between breaths.
With each in-breath and out-breath you start to feel more and more relaxed,
Letting go of any tension in your body.
Breathing in through your nose and breathing out through your mouth,
You become more and more relaxed,
You become more at ease,
Feeling calm and relaxed.
Now I would like you to visualize being in a beautiful nature setting.
This could be somewhere where you have been before and felt at peace,
Or it could be somewhere else new.
Once you are in that space,
Take a moment to notice the colors in your surroundings,
Notice the textures,
And notice the sounds.
If there is anything in your surrounding that you can visualize yourself touching it,
Do it so,
And just take some time to notice how it feels to touch whatever object is in your surroundings,
Any object of your choice.
How does it feel touching that object?
What sensations it brings to your hand and to your body?
Now I would like you to start walking in any direction that you like,
And as you start walking you will feel the Sun beaming down onto you,
Involving you in this warm and loving energy,
Supporting you in your journey to healing and to let go.
As you are walking,
You notice someone walking towards you,
And the closer and closer you become to this person,
You realize this is the person that you would like to let go of.
Take some time to notice where in the body do you feel that thread that connects you with that person.
You might be able to see a cord connecting you with that person,
Or you might just have a really strong feeling in a particular place in your body,
And that's where your energetic cord is attached to the other person.
Now that you have located your energetic cord connecting you to that person,
Take some time to acknowledge that person in front of you as a human being.
Look at them in their eyes and say,
May you be happy,
May you be well,
May you be peaceful and at ease.
May you be happy,
May you be well,
May you be peaceful and at ease.
Don't worry if you struggle to feel these positive feelings towards that person.
What counts is the intention and resolution behind it.
Say it again,
May you be well,
May you be happy,
May you be peaceful and at ease.
May you be filled with love and kindness,
And may we go our separate ways.
May you be happy,
May you be well,
May you be peaceful and at ease.
May you be filled with love and kindness,
And may we go our separate ways.
And now you will notice,
Right next to you,
A beautiful sword made of light.
And as you hold the sword and lift it with both hands,
You cut the energetic cord connecting you with the other person in a single movement.
You are now both free of any spiritual contract you may have had with each other.
Free of any sense of ownership,
Trauma-bonding experiences,
Shared hurt or pain.
You are free to let go and to move on with your life.
To let go of any hurt and pain,
Or any need to control anything in regards to that person.
Before you saying your goodbyes and turning your backs to each other,
You smile at each other and thank each other.
Now you can say goodbye and turn your back.
And you both start walking to where you came from.
And you are now back in this beautiful nature setting,
And the sun still beaming onto you,
Rejuvenating and repairing,
Cleansing your energetic field.
Starting from the bottom of your feet,
You see a beaming of light going up into your knees,
Into your belly,
Into your torso,
Arms,
Hands,
Up into your head,
And finally expanding outwards.
And just take some time to enjoy the peacefulness of this.
When you are ready,
Start making your way back into the room in the present moment.
Bringing attention into your breath,
Breathing in through your nose and breathing out through your mouth.
Start moving your toes,
Your hands,
Fingers.
Stretch your body.
And when you are ready,
You might now open your eyes.
