Hi,

My name is Allison and I would like to guide you through a beach meditation,

A guided imagery based meditation.

So to start,

I would like for you to find a place that you can either sit or lay down and be as comfortable and as relaxed as possible.

Maybe putting one hand on your chest and one hand on your belly and just feeling the breath moving throughout your body.

If you're laying on your back or sitting against a chair,

Feeling your back body moving with the breath.

If you notice that you're breathing more into your chest and your belly is not moving much,

Inviting more air deeper into your abdomen.

Filling your entire belly with air and exhaling all the air completely.

Enjoying this beautiful breath,

This life force that's with us from the moment we come into this world until the moment that we leave.

So taking a moment to be grateful for this breath that we take so for granted.

Feeling more and more beautiful,

Deep cleansing breath for a few more breaths here.

Breathing in positivity and maybe a beautiful sunlight if you will.

Feeling out all negativity and all that no longer serves you.

And at this point I would like for you to bring to mind an image of a beach.

Perhaps it's somewhere that you've been before.

Maybe it's a picture you've seen somewhere you want to go.

Or maybe you just created it today for this meditation.

It's all entirely up to you.

You can have loved ones in the scene with you or you can be alone.

You can have strangers on the beach or you can be all alone.

So creating the image for yourself imagining that you are on the beach.

Understanding that you're walking up to the sand,

You hear the waves,

Maybe hear the seagulls,

You smell the salty air.

Perhaps you even taste the salt in the air.

There's a nice cool breeze.

It's warm but not hot.

And as you approach the sand,

It's a white soft sand.

So you decide to kick off your shoes and you put your feet into the sand.

Lying the sand between your toes,

Wiggling your toes because it feels so nice and soft.

The sand is warm and the sand is soft.

So you continue walking towards the water.

The sand becomes more compact and damp as you get closer to the shore.

And once you get close to the shore,

You decide to put your feet in,

Feeling the water rushing in and out.

Feeling your ankles moving almost backwards as the waves come crashing in and recede back out.

You decide at this point that you would like to go a little deeper into this clear blue water.

You go till you're about waist deep and decide it's a good time to float in this beautiful water as the waves are gentle in a just slightly rocking motion.

And as you float,

You look up at the beautiful blue sky and the clouds,

The white,

Wispy clouds.

Perhaps there's a few birds flying over.

And you feel a sense of gratitude and peace wash over you,

Feeling safe,

Feeling secure,

Feeling worry free in this beautiful place.

And you rock there for a while,

Feeling the waves,

Feeling the weight.

And if thoughts or emotions come up,

That's okay.

Just bring your awareness back to the beach,

Back to floating in the water with no worries or cares.

Just for this short time,

Allow yourself this relaxation for just a little bit longer.

And as you finish floating,

You swim back towards the water's edge and you slowly make your way out of the water,

Drying yourself off with a towel.

You continue walking along the water's edge,

Just enjoying the beautiful view,

The vast ocean in front of you,

Feeling small in front of this huge,

Vast ocean.

Feeling the enormity of the ocean and the connection that you have to it.

You continue walking until you find a nice boulder.

And you climb up on the boulder to overlook the water.

You decide this is a good place to sit and meditate and listen to the waves crashing,

Smelling salty air,

Hearing the waves,

Feeling safe and held.

And I'm grateful for this beautiful day.

I'm pretty safe.

I'm pretty safe.

And as we end the practice today,

I encourage you to come back to this place whenever you desire.

You can create it all in your own mind.

And I'd like for you to know that any peace that you experienced during this meditation,

It all came from within you,

Not me.

I just guided you to a place where you could reach the peace that always exists within you.

With loving kindness from my heart to yours,

May you be happy,

May you be healthy,

May you be peaceful.

Thank you for listening.

This meditation brought me to a very special beach, in my home town. It’s my Happy Place. I’ve always felt connected to the ocean. Thank you Allison, for bringing me to my Happy Place. It was such a pleasure to meet you at your live yesterday. I felt like I was home.💖✨✨
