You are a palace,
Not a playground.
And you need to know that this place,
This time,
This existence,
This universe would not be the same without you.
Without the good energy you gift us,
Your dawn is the sweetest horizon.
This is a poem by Adrian Michael,
Read by London Porter.
My grandmother used to say,
Go where you're appreciated,
Not where you're tolerated.
Around the world,
In places like Japan,
Vietnam,
Sweden,
And Turkey,
It is a custom and a sign of respect to take off your shoes when entering someone's home or a place of worship.
You are a palace,
Not a playground.
And we teach people how to treat us every day.
Think about an area of your life where you would like to be and to feel more appreciated.
Teaching people how to treat us differently can happen with words,
Actions,
Or both.
Now tap into your higher self and your heart energy.
What can you do or say differently to be more appreciated with the situation you're thinking of?
As the universe and your higher power brings you the answers,
A friendly reminder to write those answers down.
Stay as long as you'd like and revisit this appreciation tool as much as you'd like.
You are a palace,
Not a playground.
Con todo mi corazón,
Namaste.
