I want you to know from the very beginning that everything is going to be okay.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,
And slowly exhale out through your mouth.
Let your shoulders drop,
And your body soften.
Let's do this a few more times.
Breathe in,
And release.
Each breath out is a gentle release,
Letting go of any tension or worry.

If your mind starts to wander,
That's okay.
Just gently bring your attention back to your breath,
And the soothing reassurance that everything is going to be okay.
As you continue to breathe,
Bring your attention to your body.
Notice how you're feeling right now.
If there's any discomfort,
Any heaviness,
Just acknowledge it.
You don't need to change anything.
Just notice.
And now,
As you breathe out,
Imagine a soft wave of relaxation washing over you,
From the top of your head,
Down through your neck,
Your shoulders,
Your chest.
Feel your arms soften,
Your hands relax.
With each breath,
Imagine your body getting lighter,
As if you're releasing any weight that's been weighing you down.
You don't need to carry it right now.
In this space,
It's okay to let go.
Let go.
Soften.
And remember,
Everything is going to be okay.

Whatever you're feeling right now,
Whether it's physical discomfort or emotional heaviness,
Know that you don't have to fix it in this moment.
Just be here with yourself,
Exactly as you are.
It's all going to be okay.
You are safe.
You are supported.
You are loved.
Now I invite you to let the following words sink deeply into your being.
Feel them,
And try to fully embody their meaning.
If you can,
Think of a time when you fully felt this way.
I am resilient.
I've been through hard times before,
And I have come out the other side.
I am strong.
I am capable.
Everything is temporary,
And this too shall pass.
I trust in the natural flow of life,
That everything changes,
And soon,
I will feel lighter again.
As you hear these words,
I invite you to gently hold your own hand or softly stroke your upper arms,
Comforting yourself.
Feel the warmth and care of this simple act,
As if you're cradling yourself with love and compassion.
You are always here for yourself,
Offering reassurance that everything is going to be okay.

Let's let go even more.
Whatever thoughts or worries you've been holding onto,
Imagine them dissolving with each breath out.
Let go of the need to control.
Let go of the need to have all the answers right now.
Gently soften.
There's nothing you need to do in this moment,
Except rest and trust that everything is working out.
It's all going to be okay.

You're cared for,

Allow yourself to soften and let go.
