Welcome.
Take a moment to let your body arrive,
Wherever you are,
However you are,
It's enough.
Let the jaw soften,
Let the shoulders fall,
Let the breath slow down without forcing anything.
Take one deep breath in through the nose,
And exhale gently through the mouth.
Quietly inside say,
I am here.
You are not here to fix anything,
Not here to elevate your day.
Not here to improve yourself.
You are here simply to return.
Feel your breath moving in and out.
Not controlled,
Just observed.
On the next exhale,
Imagine the entire day flowing downward and out of your body.
All the effort,
All the conversations,
All the plans and expectations.
Let tonight be a doorway between the world of doing and the world of being.
Inhale softly,
Exhale slowly.
Repeat twice more.
Bring awareness to the forehead,
Soften the muscles there.
Bring awareness to the jaw,
Let it loosen.
Bring awareness to the throat,
Allow space,
No pressure to speak,
No need to hold.
Bring awareness to the chest,
Imagine the ribs widening gently,
Like a sigh you don't have to take.
Bring awareness to the belly,
Let it soften without concern.
Bring awareness to the hips,
Let them sink,
Release,
Melt.
Say silently,
I'm allowed to rest.
Now place one hand on the center of your chest.
Take a slow inhale,
And on the exhale,
Imagine calling your energy back to you.
Not from people,
Not from situations,
Not from expectation,
Just energy returning home.
You don't have to visualize,
Just intend.
Say quietly inside,
What I gave away today returns.
Let the body receive that.
If there is any feeling still present from the day,
A frustration,
A hope,
A longing,
A moment that didn't close.
Place your awareness on it gently,
Not to analyze it,
Not to solve it,
Just stay with it.
Breathe softly,
Say inwardly,
This is how the day completes itself,
Without residue.
Place one hand on the lower belly,
The other hand on the chest.
Feel your body as one whole system.
Inhale slowly,
Exhale even slower.
Repeat silently,
I release the day,
I return to myself.
Let your breath become smaller,
Lighter,
Closer to sleep.
If you are going to sleep now,
There's nothing left to do.
Let the breath move you,
Instead of you moving the breath.
If you are simply ending the evening,
Rise slowly,
As if lifting out of water.
Carry the softness with you,
You do not have to earn your rest,
You are allowed to simply be.
The night will hold you,
May your rest restore you from the inside out.
