Sound Healing: Cambodian Thunderstorm (360° Mind+Body Audio)

The Cambodian Thunderstorm is a 360° immersive Sound Healing experience created by the Earth Echo Collective in partnership with Sounding Wild. This track features 360° ambisonic field recordings from the Cardamom Mountains of Cambodia.

The field recordings were recorded, mixed, and mastered by Axel Drioli of Sounding Wild in 2019; who also partnered with the Earth Echo Collective to produce a 6min 38sec immersive binaural track for our second official piece - Oriental Bay Owl. That piece can be found as a bonus track in the main Cambodian Thunderstorm headset audio experience.

In December 2022, The Cambodian Thunderstorm was transcoded on the Polygon Live stage at the Wonderfruit festival (polygon-productions.com). It was featured as a 360° sound journey, combined with scent dispersion, to create a fully immersive sensory experience.
