Hello,
I'm Charlie and today we're going to have a little moment of exploration together,
Journeying into the new energy of spring.
So just beginning to find yourself in a comfortable position,
Breath becomes easeful,
Maybe the sun starts to soften a little.
Just landing here,
Perhaps gently closing down the eyes if that feels good.
And sip in a slow,
Easy breath and let it go.
And as you start to settle here,
In your mind's eye you find yourself in the bow of a tall and sturdy tree,
Nestled in its great limbs,
Weightless and held.
The quiet earth all around you still and calm,
Begins to stir.
And beneath you,
Far,
Far below,
Deep in the cool and sleepy earth,
The roots of this tree stretch outward,
Reaching far,
Far.
And from these roots,
New life begins to rise,
Slowly,
A trickle drawing up through the roots to the base of the trunk of the tree,
Until it's spilling out and pooling in the deep,
Weathered grooves of its bark.
Travelling wide into its great branches,
Spreading outward in all directions,
Reaching,
Opening,
Right to the very fingertips of this tree,
Where fresh green buds grow more and more plump with life.
The earth is thawing,
Softening,
And small shoots begin to press upwards through winter's quilt,
Strong and determined.
And new flowers ready themselves to erupt into a symphony of colours and sweet smell as they turn their peddled faces to the sky.
And here you perch,
A readiness within you too,
All sense of possibility.
A soft and sparkling spring light spills through the trees,
And as the light touches the branches,
The trees,
The buds,
The blossoms,
It touches you too.
It is a bold light,
And vibrant,
And adventurous,
And as it wraps all around you,
And you become bathed in it,
So too might you notice these qualities within yourself,
As you settle into this new current of life,
A life that moves in you as effortlessly as the sunlight pouring through the trees.
Breathe in deeply,
Breathe out effortlessly,
Breathe in deeply,
Resting here for as long as you need,
Taking in all of the colours and smells and sounds and sights,
Breathing in new life,
Breathing in new life,
Breathing in new life.
Perhaps you'd stay here a little longer,
Drinking in the soft spring time light,
Until you feel entirely warm,
Sparkling,
And ready to emerge.
And when you do,
Know that you return carrying this new life within and all around you,
And you are sublimely radiant.
You are sublimely radiant.
